I stood next to my window, hurt but acting strong. The pain I felt was unbearable. It only made my heart shutter. "Mum!" that's the only word I could utter,I wished I also died on that day she got into the tragic car accident. My life immediately changed as dad became distanced. He married Caramela, who was a single mum as well.She had a son who was 2 years older than me .At first she seemed the most awesome mum anyone could ask for.As time went by I stop being the cinderalla I was and was turned into the house help.it's not like my family wasn't able but the fact that when dad was away on business trips Caramela became the witch she was ,a wolf in a sheep's skin. Life became so f*****g difficult and at times I wished for death, jayson who was my step brother sexualy harassed me and my complains where futile, mum poisoned my dad's mind and his attitude changed drastically, I received beatings everytime dad came back home. Then, one day, everything changed as I received my campus admissi letter .As it was Caramela's joy to get me out of their lives, she managed to convince him to let me stay in my condo back in Oak City as I waited for my admission day. She just had no idea how my joy new no bounce.I packed only my personal stuff as I had clothes in the condo. life in my condo seemed reliving, I wasn't going to depend on them for my every spending, Caramela made sure to freeze all my credit cards.Nunny promised to help me in to search for a part-time job.I only rested in the patio as my mind took me to a foggy place, this time I saw the guy who appears in my dreams. I started to run after him cos I was afraid he would disappear like it was his norm.But something was different this time. It felt like I was being drawn to him,As I came closer he removed his fangs and roared at me,he had this superior humour, my eyes couldn't stop staring at his ocean eyes,his long ,dark hair neatly combed.He looked like a roman god.i could feel butterflies in my belly as he looked at me surprised. "what is this thing am feeling?" I opted to be myself, I moved closer and hit his shoulder lightly and asked how his fangs looked so real.This shocked him even more,he gave me this baby face that made me giggle. "Luna!Are me okay young lady?" Nunny incurred,I cursed inwardly but accepted it was fate,my smile was still planted on my slim baby face. I hummed as I headed to the bathroom to freshen up.
