In the land of humans, thousands of religions have been born to suppress the greed of mankind. Many people believe that after we depart our physical bodies, we will have to battle our way to either heaven or hell. Those who end up in hell have earned negative points during their lifetime, while those who go to heaven have either earned thousands of points or performed good deeds to secure their place in the promised land. In the cycle of life and death, a human screener is born to witness the greediness and kindness of mankind. Endowed with power by the realm of Gods, this human screener meticulously separates and evaluates individuals based on the points they have earned, determining whether they deserve a place in hell or the promised land. This screener is born through the amalgamation of the kindness and greediness of mankind, carefully crafted into a human form. He lives among them, observing and interacting with his fellow humans. His ultimate purpose is to maintain balance between the number of individuals entering the gates of hell and heaven. Any disruption in the balance of Yin and Yang would result in the disappearance of the purest and untarnished characteristics of mankind. Chaos and unrest would prevail, ultimately dominating the land. To prevent such an occurrence, the Gods have sent Senji Zan—the name meaning "by the command of God"—to fulfill this task. Senji Zan's life is meticulously orchestrated by the Gods. He possesses the power to see the points earned by people, as a small number appears above their heads, signifying their accumulated actions. If a person's heart is tainted with a black aura, the number seen by Senji turns red. The Gods have also bestowed upon him the power of discernment, enabling him to see the true nature of individuals. This is crucial in his role as a screener. Senji Zan never relies solely on the numbers blinking above people's heads; he always examines the inner depths of mankind to make his judgments. As Goru approached Senji, holding a cake and singing, "Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you!", Senji realized it was his birthday and Goru suggested celebrating the successful passage of individuals into the gates of heaven. Goru is a sidekick bestowed upon Senji by the Gods of Heaven. His character embodies purity, perceiving the goodness and kindness within humans, regardless of whether it is hidden or evident. Goru makes recommendations to Senji and keeps a record of the individuals they encounter who have earned the highest points. In short, Goru is Senji's Yang sidekick. "You never cared to celebrate your birthday! What is new today Senji? It just reminds you of how old you are! You are living thousands of years already; you should be tired!" Exclaimed Elijha while leaning on the opposite side where Senji was seated. On the other hand, Elija represents darkness. She judges individuals based on their evilness and dark actions. She always perceives the malevolent intentions behind human actions and never fails to provide her judgment to Senji. Elija serves as Senji's Yin sidekick. Both sidekicks have their own intriguing histories, the details of which will unfold as they delve deeper into discovering their true selves. They strive alongside Kenji, following the instructions of the Gods of hell and heaven. "Mission is mission. No one knows exactly when I was born, so stop creating scenes Goru. Immortals don't celebrate birthdays. It is a practice reserved for humans!" Senji exclaimed as he moved forward and blew out the candle lit by Goru.
