The darkness is starting to feel comforting. There’s no pain after the darkness, just emptiness and peace and…. beeping?
Why is there beeping? I started to open my eyes and blinked them a few times. I’m in a room with a white ceiling. It feels cold but not uncomfortable. I’m surrounded by pillows and covered with a warm down blanket. I have IV ports in my right hand. A hospital? Did I make it to the Red Savage Pack? I remember running into warriors in the woods, but who were they? What pack were they from?
“You’re awake!” A lovely woman yelled from beside me. Her brown curls bounced as she stood up and took a seat on my hospital bed.
“I guess I am.” I said timidly. “Where am I?” I asked.
“The Red Savage Pack Clinic. You’ve been asleep since they brought you here a few days ago.
