Darkness Falls - a short rockstar romance

Prologue Lila had been abused for a number of years but was scared to leave. She could rarely see her friends and if she did they had to be female friends. She had already been in an abusive relationship before and was scared to start over again. Every day she walked on eggshells. Hoping for things to get better. One day she found a band she really liked called Darkness Falls. They were a dark waveock band. The singer had a public profile. They were not a big band yet so the account wasn’t verified. So there wasn’t a clear way of telling if she was messaging the singer or someone pretending but she took the chance and added him. Lila got up that morning to her boyfriend screaming at her because she was not up yet doing the dishes or cleaning the house. She knew better than to sleep in but she was so exhausted from doing everything. She got out of bed went to the bathroom and started the dishes before he got the opportunity to scream at her again. She finished those and then threw the laundry in the washer. He had left for work already so she took the time to take a shower in peace. She turned on the hot water but had to turn on some cold because her body aches so much. Whenever she would do something wrong he would hit her and leave bruises and sometimes scratches. Her body was in so much pain. She washed up quickly so she could get out and finish the chores. The sooner she finished, the sooner she could rest before he got home. She got out and dried off. Then she took out the garbage and swept the floor. The laundry wasn’t ready for the dryer yet so she sat down and got on f*******:. She had recently been listening to a band she really liked called Darkness Falls. She had won two VIP tickets. Her friend Sarah was going to be taking her. Her boyfriend didn’t care because he was happy to have her away from him for the night so he could flirt with other women online while she was gone. Scrolling through she noticed a profile for the singer of the band. Alexander Filatov. She added him and he must have been online because he accepted right away. Lila didn’t have her profile as in a relationship because her boyfriend wanted girls to think he was single so he could flirt with them. So I’m public he pretended she didn’t exist. She closed f*******: and put the clothes in the dryer. She was happy for the first time in a while. She just hoped he was real and not a scammer using his picture. Soon the clothes were done and she started to put them away. Her boyfriend just opened the door. ”Did you do all the housework? He barked at her. “Yes.” She replied timidly. “Good you can leave me alone and stay away from me.” She went into her room to lay down for the night. She had a message from Alexander. She looked to see if her boyfriend was paying attention. He was too busy watching some cam girl. Alexander wrote Hey, how is your day going? She typed back. Not great my boyfriend is cheating on me as usual and treating me like garbage. He answered, Oh you have a boyfriend ? She quickly typed back. He abuses me. I want to get away but I have no where to go and I’m scared. He typed, I’m so sorry you are going through that. I wish I could help you. She answered, Meeting you will be wonderful.
