Ashta opened her eyes, and she found herself in a hot and hazy land made of dark brown mountains, and the sky was a red-orange color. Seemingly, the sun was high in the sky, but there was a hazy film across it, making the air thick, heavy, and hot, making it hard to breathe. Surprisingly, there was no grass or any signs of fresh vegetation growing on the land.
Uncomfortably, she coughed as she walked through the strange land and heard the sound of voices, laughing, and music. Someone must have been having a celebration somewhere, from the sounds of things. Curiously, she walked toward the commotion and saw that she was right. Strange-looking people were walking around from tent to tent, and some were dancing in a town square.
