CHAPTER 3

Freedom was short of words then he told his father that it will be better for him to make the decision of finding and marrying the right woman for himself. Then his father told him he is going to give him just three good months to bring a good woman or else he will have to marry the one he has for him in China. Freedom left to his room as soon as he heard this.

Two days later, Melissa went to shopping at the supermarket then she saw that jenny was already working there. She went to her and started abusing her with harsh words. Jenny don't want to make trouble or quarrel with her because she know she will lose her job, so she didn't alter a word to Melissa. Melissa noticed Jenny's unusual silence then she left. While Melissa was selecting lip sticks and jenny was still looking at her, she mistakenly picked the other salesgirl's phone while her own was on her bag then she left. Immediately after the salesgirl noticed that her phone was not there, she called the security man that she think Melissa took her phone. They ran after her and saw her outside about entering her car. Melissa argued with them that she didn't pick any phone, but the security man still insist on checking her bag. Melissa told them to wait for her to check herself and when she did she saw the phone inside her bag and brought it out. Melissa was just confused and couldn't say anything, she didn't know what to explain, how everything really went. Immediately jenny came and said it was her that put the phone on Melissa's bag so that she will be called a thief. she said she want to teach Melissa a lesson for all the bad things she always say to her, she continued, "but now I guess it will be a very wrong thing to make people call her a thief".

Melissa was just so confused even the salesgirl was too, that when did all this happened, but she didn't care because she already got her phone back. Jenny was arrested after everything. At home Melissa kept thinking, she remembered picking the phone but didn't noticed it wasn't her own. She decided to talk to freedom. During their discussion freedom asked her that if Jenny's a stubborn girl and not a good girl how do she think jenny would have saved her. Melissa realized everything and what she must do she decided with freedom to find a way to go bail jenny out of prison.

A day after jenny was out from prison, Bella began to talk to her that why did she put herself in a very difficult situation. She was very disappointed at jenny but jenny gave her a reason that she never expected. it was the opposite of what Melissa think about poor people that all they do is go after rich people and snatch money. She said she wanted to show Melissa that poor people do care for others in any way they can and not the other way round. Jenny was tired of talking so she went to bed in order to rest.

Someone came knocking at the door and jenny asked who it is.

"it's me, Melissa"

Melissa replied and Bella opened the door to really see if it was her and then asked her what she's doing there without letting her in.

"I came to see how Jenny's doing", Melissa said.

Bella told her that Jenny needs to rest so she have to go and come back some other time. Jenny told Bella not to worry that it will be fine to talk with Melissa.

Melissa started by saying she went to the supermarket but couldn't find jenny there so she had to seek for Jenny's address and locate her house. Bella entered the talk and yelled out Melissa that did she came to mock jenny, she continued,

"can't you see it's embarrassing for jenny to go out there now, and it is all because of you"

Jenny told Bella to calm down and Melissa said, she don't know how to fix all this but she can still help jenny get her job back. Jenny told her to go and not to worry that she'll find a way. Melissa kept pleading but jenny refused. Bella said, "you heard her correctly just go!!". Then Melissa left sadly because she really wanted to help jenny.

when Melissa got home she told freedom to help her fix things with jenny. Freedom agreed and told her that he'll try his best. The next day freedom dressed good to meet with jenny and they discussed. Freedom begged jenny to forgive Melissa.

"but Melissa didn't do anything wrong, besides I'm not angry at her", jenny said,

"that's great to hear", freedom said.

Later on, freedom told jenny that he have something to say to her, jenny asked what and he said,

"Jenny"

"yes what is it freedom, tell me", jenny replied

And freedom said, "I love you".

Jenny's eyes stopped blinking and were just starring at freedom's eyes. He admitted to jenny that for some time now he can't sleep without thinking of her. Jenny can't help it also but to confess her love too, she said from that day she kicked him that was the day she started loving him. Suddenly freedom brought out a ring to propose to jenny and then she said yes to him.

When freedom got home he told Melissa everything and she was happy and then she said, "I do believe in fate now, I mean all this time we were just living a life of wealth and money with no good heart, no good name to describe who we truly are, but thanks to God who gave us jenny for us to realize all this things". She continued that if it wasn't for jenny she would have had a monster's heart. Freedom said also that if it wasn't for jenny he wouldn't have know how it takes to love.

A week after three months gone freedom went to his father and told him that he has found his woman. Mr Harrison was so happy when he heard this then told him to bring this woman so that he can see.

Jenny agreed to marry freedom and was brought to freedom's parents by freedom. In their discussion, Mr Harrison asked jenny about her parents and she said she don't know her parents very well that she actually grew up as an orphan, although she knew her mother's name which her guard mother told her. Mr Harrison asked for the name and she said, "Elisa Tj". Mr Harrison and his wife shouted, "what". Jenny got shocked from their shout and asked if anything is wrong. Mr Harrison asked her that is Elisa Tj really her mother and she said yes. Mr Harrison then say to her that if Elisa is really her mother then there is no way she can marry his son. Freedom got angry and asked why then his mother replied, "because Elisa is my sister, can't u wonder why there's Tj, Tj is my father, your grandfather".

Melissa said in her mind, "what a coincidence". Freedom asked them that how sure are they that what if they are just two different people with the same name. Mr Harrison said, "fine, ask jenny to whisper her mum's full name to your ears then your mum will say it out to us".
