At The Party

CHAPTER 5

Bella continued, "but jenny, you will end up crying seeing freedom again". Jenny was about to say a word but kept quiet after hearing what Bella just said. It's obvious, whenever she remember or see freedom she always feel sad.

Melissa told freedom that she invited jenny and freedom said, "that's good but don't you think dad doesn't want that ". Melissa said with no fear and hesitation,

"oh come on, nobody not even dad have the right to tell me who to invite and who not to invite, Jenny will have to come to my party no matter what".

While they were still talking, kira was listening from behind. She was wondering who the girl freedom and Melissa was talking about and felt jealous of how Melissa talked about the girl, cause ever since she came Melissa never spoke kindly to her.

A day before Melissa's birthday party, Melissa can't sleep over the excitement that tomorrow is the day. When it was morning, the birthday planner came with her workers to decorate and beautify the mansion, while Melissa and the nannies were cooking. Freedom left for the cake but before he left kira said she wants to follow him. He refused but then his father came and told two of them to go then they went together.

"alright we want this one", freedom said to the cake designer.

Kira said, "but this cake look so cheap, it worth just 200k while I was thinking Melissa would go for an expensive one for her party, come on!! Freedom let's take the one of 1m".

Freedom told her that it was Melissa's choice to go for this one of 200k.

"fine let's just go", kira said and they left.

When Freedom got home Melissa told him that jenny is really going to come for the party and freedom said no problem. Kira always wonder the way Melissa and freedom are always taking this Jenny's matter serious, she always feel jealous whenever they are talking about jenny and swears in her mind that she will ruin this jenny if she dares come to the way.

Kira went to her room and saw her laptop ringing, her friend Tracy Luis was calling to hear from her, it was a video call. Kira answered and Tracy asked her how she's doing. she said everything is not fine that freedom is not being cool with her and Melissa is not in good terms with her. Tracy told her she shouldn't be worried that everything will began to go well very soon. Kira went further and told Tracy that the thing that annoys her the most is how freedom and Melissa always talk about the useless girl. Tracy asked her who's the useless girl and she said she don't know that she have not set her eyes on the girl. She continued,

"to make things worst they even invited her to come to the birthday party today".

Tracy told her that one thing she must know about a woman and a house wife is that she must not allow any other woman take her place, that it is the only one thing that makes her a woman. Kira smiled badly and said she know what she's going to do.

It evening and people are already going to the Harrison's mansion. Jenny is now wearing her clothes for the party and Bella came, saying, "I'm still voting you shouldn't go to the party Jenny". Jenny told her that she don't want Melissa to be angry, she have to go at all cost, so she left for the party.

Jenny open the door and entered the big mansion, as Melissa sighted her she ran to meet jenny and hugged her. Freedom smiled once again as soon as he saw jenny. A girl standing besides kira said, this would have been freedom's wife if not because of the mysterious truth that came out. Kira asked about the truth, and she told kira everything she know about freedom and jenny's past. Kira said to herself when she saw jenny, freedom and Melissa laughing together, "so that's the girl, she look so irritating, and she don't even look like the fashion type, gosh!!! just look at her awful dress".

Freedom went to where jenny was sitting to talk with her,

"hi..", he said

Jenny laughed and said, "I'm fine, you already asked me that the first time you saw me when I came in".

Freedom told her she's looking pretty and she told freedom that he is not supposed to tell her that after all they are cousins.

Later when everybody were having fun, dancing and drinking, kira noticed how one of freedom's friend was looking at jenny. it was kind of a love look. kira smiled and said to herself, "now this is what I'm looking for". She went to the middle were everybody can see her and said,

"hey everyone listen up, before we all continue what ever we are doing I would like us to play a truth or dare game".

Freedom asked why would she want to play a truth or dare game and her response was, "I want some people to go home looking happier than they first came". She asked them who's with her and almost everybody raised their hands except freedom,jenny,Melissa and two other people, even Mr Harrison, his wife and friends agreed that they want to watch them play. Kira called the same friend of freedom named Raymond Ben and asked him, "truth or dare". He said dare and kira said,

"I want you to kiss.."

Mr Harrison face looked funny and disturbed cause he taught kira would say she want the guy to kiss her, then kira continued,

"I want you to kiss that girl, pointing at jenny".

Raymond was very happy cause it was exactly what he wanted. Jenny stood up and said no, then everybody shouted, "no that she must allow the boy kiss her". Melissa disagreed that she wouldn't let it happened, then Mr Harrison said, but it is not wrong for the guy to kiss jenny after all she's looking for a man to marry that's why she came here. Everybody laughed and Mr Harrison continued, "fine, he should just kiss her on the cheek". Jenny disagreed also, she stood up and was about walking away then Mr Harrison said to her,

"why are you always bringing bad luck to everything, it's just a kiss and nothing more, oh wait, you want my son to do it, well sorry to say this cause I think you've forgotten, you guys are cousins, you can't tell me you are still in love with my son, you should be ashamed of yourself". Jenny dropped tears and ran outside. Freedom told his dad that's enough then ran after jenny as well as Melissa but they couldn't find Jenny.

when the party was later over and everybody were going, kira went after Raymond to collected his contact. she told him that he shouldn't worry that she'll help him get the girl jenny to be with him. He was happy and said anything just to be with the girl then he gave kira his number. After he left, kira said to herself,

"fool, what is in that old fashion girl that he likes, oh well, that doesn't matter cause I will use him to get jenny out of the way". She made an evil smile and went inside.

When jenny got home, Bella noticed she was crying then she said, "I knew it, you should have listen to me, you shouldn't have gone to the party, now look at you all crying again. Jenny i can't bear seeing you like this, cause it hurts me too whenever you cry". Jenny said to her while still crying, "I'm sorry Bella, you were right". Bella hugged her and told her to stop crying.
