Kenji drove his new garbage truck at work and was ahead of schedule, listening to a Billy Gilman CD. Stopped at a red light at Blossom Hill and Winfield Avenue, his eyes went wide as the light changed and a fast-moving car accelerated as traffic crossed. He grabbed his cell phone and dialed 911 the second the collision occurred. The speeding car slammed into a small car and careened off into a third one. The small car spun around before crashing into a light pole. Smoke came out, but he figured it was steam from the radiator.
