Ching! Clang! Ching! The sound hammering stretching out of the enormous tower that was floating in crystal bright sea of stars and planets. Sound of hammering was not so loud but it can still reach at the end of the sea. The sound invoke some people. They gathered around the tower and starts murmuring. “Hey what do you think mother is doing?” one person broke silence in a subtle voice. A Sheet of space itself was covering the face of these unknown entities. The person besides him answers it “I don’t know” but in a very loud tone. Some get startled, some get a little angry and some just shake their head. Suddenly, one person spoke in that fertile silence of awareness. “Mother is creating new skills.” “New skills? like unique that even we don’t have it?” “Yes. Entirely fresh powers that none of us used or even seen.” “wait! Wait! WAIT! Doesn’t that mean The Hell Tower is descending?” “Yes. It seems mother is gonna make a new hell tower.” “yes! Yes! YES! And then their going to be lots of people dying and getting destroyed.” “Not just people, the planet itself gets destroyed when hell tower descendants and amongst all the destruction, the celestial will be born fighting against all odds.” “are you talking about Human celestial! Those grubby stigmas on true celestial like us. Those guys always talk about wanting to destroy the tower of mother. Whenever they come in front of me, they act arrogant and show hostility. I will kill them someday.” “yea! Yea! YEA! I can see blood after some time. So, when are you fighting?” “Shut up. Let mother concentrate.” A tower descended on the earth. Players are awakened and given a chance to climb the tower, just like in every game. And if you are not players, then you get killed by the stampede of the dungeon. Dungeon get created by energy of tower. The energy of the tower creates dungeons, and they spawn monsters. The monsters in the dungeon cannot be communicated with or understood, unlike the tower. They have only one desire - to kill. If the dungeon is not cleared in time, a stampede occurs. Human get killed by the monsters and those who are lucky to get saved by players. But amongst them, there are those who are lucky and unlucky at the same time. They do not get eaten by monsters but get affected by mana of dungeon. People call it “Mana Curse” it puts human into a coma state in which their consciousness is also in deep slumber. Even if Mana Curse is the worst but it is more miserable to see it curse a family member. To see them sleep all day and night, not move a single muscle as if they are dead. And it becomes unbearable when a 17-year-old boy Harsh has to see his father, mother, and sister laying on a hospital bed. Completely dozing in the arms of slow death. At the age of 17, harsh has to leave school to work and earn money for his family’s hospital bills. Three Years Later Harsh is riding a bicycle. The bicycle riding is smooth but fast. Without caring, he just going from the gaps between cars. He even ignores the signals. There is some tension on his face, like he is in a hurry to get somewhere. And he stops at in front of a house and rings the doorbell. Ting! But no one answers. He rings again, but he still didn’t receive any replies. Ting! Ting! Ting! Ting! Ting! “Stop you fucker,” a boy’s voice came from the inside. A person opened the door. The boy came with an angry and arrogant look on his face. He looks at harshly and goes “Hey! Why the f**k are you destroying my doorbell? Do you think we are deaf or what?” the boy said very loudly and rudely too harsh like the looking down on him. Harsh, who was used to this type of situation quietly, more like subtlety, he says “well you didn’t hear it first time.” The boy hears a little murmuring of harsh says “what did you say?” “Nothing, just pizza here.” He handover the pizza to the boy. He takes the pizza close to the door. Harsh stops him and asks, “where is money?” Boy puts smug on his face and says, “can you look at the clock there?” He points towards the clock right in front of door and anyone can see the clock when entering. “See your are supposed to come at 2:35, and it almost 2; 40 now. Thirty minutes after ordering pizza is free.” Harsh get nervous, he hesitantly replies “but I came on time, like 2:32, but you just didn’t answer you doorbell.” “see b@tch, it’s not my problem. You have to give me pizza in 30 minutes and you failed to do it, now f**k off” boy shuts the door to his face. Harsh, who was frustrated and angry, couldn't say anything, not because the boy scammed him, but because he did all that to his face. Not because the boy scammed him, but because even if he did all that to his face harshly couldn’t say anything. He was angry at himself. He had seen the type of people who even had money but yet still scam people who do not have any. He cannot say anything because he knows this thing will come to bite him back and might even cost him his job. It’s like throwing a rock in mud which just dirty you shoes. He sigh in annoyance and looks at the sky, rubs his hand that got red from holding the pizza. He gets on his bicycle and rides back to the pizza store. He understands that this will cost him at least 500 Rs from his salary. Harsh do delivery and many other jobs so he can pay for hospital bills, but he can barely pay the bills which were increasing every year. He reaches the pizza store and parks his bicycle. All of sudden a frightened yell dashed into harsh ears. He looks behind, people are running towards him and fire and chaos are coming towards like a tsunami. A tsunami which he cannot avoid. The chaos reminds him of a horrifying memory. Dungeon stampede that happened three years ago. Everything is burning, people are running, praying, and some just stand still, just giving up. Harsh’s family is trying to run away. They try to find shelter made for that situation. They found the shelter after some time, but it was too late. The contamination had already affected the entire family. They sleep in deep slumber. Harsh to was about to go but miraculously he get awakened. Awakened can use mana and other power they don’t get affected my the mana curse. He survived. Alone. In the hospital. He wakes up. He realizes that he has became a player but to his surprise his power where not strong. In fact, the power will only give him good rewards, as he seems assumed. He thought he could become a player, but that thought was buried the moment he could see his family laying on the, bed he understands that player job is profitable but it was also risky you can die without anyone even knowing. And he can’t leave his family like this while only relying on the power which is not even strong and gives him a few extra rewards. He gives up on becoming a player. He snaps back to the present. He run towards the shelter. As a delivery boy, he knows alleys and roads better than residents. He takes some people and children towards shelter. “Aaaaaaaah!” We hear horrifying screams coming from the road stretching out in front of us. The monster, more like a wolf, comes from the smoke. He was nibbling a hand. They just stopped. They say that you should never disturbed the animal when he is eating and we just did that. They tried to not disturbed him but they also need to go before he finished that meal or else they will become his next meal. They tries to walk as slowly as they can and tries not to make a sound in that explosive and scream filled situation. But they failed. Wolf heard the sound of walking. He looks at them, killing gleam in his eyes. He eats the leftover his meal in one gulp and runs towards harsh. “s**t!” Harsh in panic looks around and he sees a spear. Maybe some left or maybe owner is eaten whatever the cause. He run and grabs the spear and prepared himself to attack that wolf. ‘remember! You are a player too.’ Wolf comes, he uses his left front leg, tries to rip apart harsh but harsh dodges easily. I guess he worked on muscle on that bicycle. No way! No matter how fast his reflexes are, he can’t dodge the series attack of a wolf of E rank. Then harsh looks at wolf attentively. He notices that the wolf is already injured and was recovering by eating humans. And there is also a big wound on his right front leg, which is why even if it was awkward he used his left leg. The realization gives the idea to harsh. He immediately run towards his right side trying to make him move more so bleeding will get worse. While dodging the deadly attacks from left front leg. As the wolf seems like slowing down, harsh takes advantage of situation and attacks the wolf on right leg. Wolf instinctively left front leg to cover and attack on the right side. But that attack was fake. Harsh knew that wolf will try to protect his right side that has become his weakness, but he didn’t know. ‘the more you try to hide your weakness, the more weakness are born.’ His left side was wide open. Harsh with his full speed and agility, he attacks his left side and with the help of the spear that might be an E rank weapon and with his awakened physic. he stabs wolf and just push through the skin and muscles. “Ouuuuuwwww” the screams of wolf even make it harder for harsh. Screams where deafening. But harsh held onto the spear he pushes the spear more into wolf’s body he push the wolf behind harder. finally killing him. Then he heard a voice. “You have slain a wolf. What drop do you want?”
