Ara laughed as she hung up the phone. She'd called her brother and uncle to tell them the news. The day before finding out she was pregnant, Ara had gotten the news from Talon, that the other clans didn't want to join war against Monroe. It had been hard at first to swallow. She'd been so angry but time with her pack had made things better. Somehow they would manage. Today though, she could hear the clan screaming in celebration as Talon shared the news of her pregnancy with them. It was rare for a vampire to have a child; she herself had been the last to be born 2000 years ago. Peter kissed her forehead as she hung up.
