A few days later we were able to go home but not before Bradon had cameras installed in our house , Libby still had not accepted that she was his mate yet. I was upstairs in my room when I heard mom yelling at dad, "We have to go into town James!" "She has to have her dress. This is THE most important day of her and her wolf's life. She won't get this chance again." she huffed at him. I could just see my mother stomping her feet at him . I couldn't help but smile at the thought. I knew that he would give in; Your father, Jason, just told me to avoid him hoping that might help some, and that he would take care of it. No matter where I was he always found me it was just creepy. He seemed to find any reason he could to talk to me. That was when Sarah and I became really close; she was the Alpha's mate and Luna of the pack, her son Dawson was about ten I think at this time. She helped me as much as she could. One night while Jason was out on patrol a grenade came through the living room window shattering glass all over me. I had just found out I was pregnant with you. Luckily whoever threw it was stupid enough to forget to pull the pin" she shook her head and chuckled as she cut up onions. "The next morning Alpha Galen ordered us to move into the pack house so he could keep a closer eye on Jason and I he was really frightened for us after that. That was the worst choice that he could have made, it put us all in even more danger. Galen and Jason were looking into who threw the grenade.

I could hear the whine in her voice, little did my mom and dad know but my wolf made her appearance just two weeks ago. I frowned at the realization that she hadn't spoken to me or showed up again. This bothered me, where was she? Did she not want to talk to me? "I was hungry so I headed downstairs to go get something to eat, just as I hit the bottom step I saw my parents in the kitchen.

"Angie baby I know this but Bradon thinks that the Purple Moon Pack will attack again real soon, neither he nor I are willing to take that chance, yet for some reason they believe that we have one of their females." The features on my mother's face changed to that of fear, "Lexi go to your room" she said without looking at me. "Aww mom why can't I stay this is just getting good" I pouted that's when she spun and faced me as I looked at her face in shock I could see reminisce of her wolf coming out. "I said go to your room NOW!" she practically yelled at me in her wolf voice. I slowly backed out of the room, never taking my eyes off of my mother. When I thought that I was a safe enough distance away I turned and ran to my room.

I shut my door as I got into my room and leaned against it and sighed in relief that she hadn't followed me. I don't know what has gotten into her, my mom never yells and I mean never. Wolf voices are completely different than human voices meaning that they are much deeper and to a human they would sound almost like a demon was coming out of no where. I walked over to my desk and sat down in my overstuffed office chair that was behind my desk that was made out of cherry wood. It was then that I remembered I had left my cell phone on the counter. I palmed myself in the forehead; That's when Libby walked into my room "What is all the yelling about and why is mom yelling she never yells?" she asked as she shut the door behind her. "I don't know Lib but we are about to find out" she raised her eyebrows in question "How are you going to do that?" That is when I told her; "I forgot my phone on the island counter, and I have this wonderful application that connected my phone to my computer. What is does is that I can listen in on the person who stole it and then locate my phone." as I turned and looked at her with a sly smile on my lips as I turned back to my computer and opened the application connected to my computer. "This is bad James, this is very bad" I heard my mother saying.

"What are you talking about Angie? What is bad?" was dad's reply. What the hell? I mouthed to Libby. She shrugged her shoulders as she walked over to the bed and flopped down onto her stomach."James you know that I love you more than life itself" I barely heard her say. "I know Angie, I feel the same way about you" "I didn't mean for any of this to happen, I think we need to call Bradon he should hear what I have to say too" "What do you need to talk to him about?" James questioned her. "It has everything to do with Lexi and I, I was hoping that it would never come to this but Eric is a sadistic bastard and will do anything to get what he wants' ' Angie said looking up at James as she sat on the stool at the island counter. "Eric? the Alpha to the Purple Moon pack?" "Call Bradon you both need to listen to what I have to say and then when he gets here we can also tell Alexis she needs to know the truth as well" Angie said as she wrung her hands together in nervousness. James nodded as he took out his phone and called Bradon. Not even an hour or so later there was a knock on the door. James was the one to go to the door to let him in, the door he then stepped aside to allow Bradon to walk through. Bradon was a little bit taller than him. He had dark brown hair and the sea green eyes, he was more built too. I was still listening in so when Libby heard Bradon's deep tenor voice she almost screamed in delight ever since I could remember Libby had a crush on Brandon, which is why I could not for the life of me understand why she would not accept the fact that she could be his mate .

He was a few years older than us and since he was the Alpha we figured he would never bat an eye in our direction, he was too well kept and he always dated the pretty girls in my opinion,I never thought he was all that good looking, to me he was too pretty if there could ever be

"I know you are listening, girls, I think you should both come down since Alpha Bradon has arrived," my mother's voice came through the speakers of my computer. Since I wasn't expecting her to talk to us directly, She scared the s**t out of me and Libby so much so that we both jumped. I looked over at my bestie as she slid off the bed then headed down the steps to the kitchen. "How did you know we were listening?" I asked. My mother just laughed "You forget my darling that we are wolves, and besides there was feedback coming from your phone" she lifted my phone off the counter and handed it to me "So down to business" she sighed and stood up from her seat at the table then began pacing back and forth she then opened and closed her mouth a few times as if she were looking for the right words to say to all of us. "I think we should all sit down, this is going to be a little bit lengthy of an explanation" she waved her hands at the chairs sitting around the table in indication for us all to sit . We all took our seats as Bradon leaned against the island. "Bradon I would really like it if you would sit. I would feel more comfortable with all of this, I am nervous as it is" my mother asked. Bradon shook his head "I will stand and you will explain what the meaning of dragging me away from training with the warriors when we could be attacked at any time" you could hear the annoyance coming from his voice. Angie then nodded and cleared her throat a few times then looked at James for encouragement when he nodded she began her story.

"I never thought that it would come to this, James knew he was not Lexi's father but that didn't matter to him. He also knew my whole story. I told him before I agreed to marry him. We have kept it from everyone for a very long time. It just got easier to keep it a secret the longer that no one asked about it," she turned and looked at me. "James isn't my first mate nor is he your biological father Alexis" she was sobbing so much so that her mascara was running down her cheeks I saw it as she lowered her head. It seemed that Bradon and I jumped at the same time saying "WHAT!" "Sit down Alexis let your mother explain" my dad or I should say my so called dad said to me. I looked back and forth between them, James gave me a stern look.

It wasn't until I felt a hand on my arm that I came back to reality. It was Libby who had placed her hand on my arm. She shook her head as if to say let them finish. I slowly sat down in my chair I was in complete was in shock.. Bradon cleared his throat before he chimed in with. "I thought something was wrong you look nothing like each other'' he stated as he waved his pointer finger between James and me. My mother lifted her head and sighed just before went on with what she was saying as if in her own mind that made it easier to say everything. "I thought we would never have to tell you Alexis, but with what Eric is attempting to do we don't really have a choice, he is a vile man. I am not sure where to begin." James reached over and grabbed her hand and held it.

"I think the beginning would be a good start, '' Bradon stated. She looked up briefly at him then nodded. I met Alexis' father when I was eighteen. We married right away and things were going great or at least I thought. The Purple Moon Pack were wonderful people, all of them were kind and loving they welcomed me with open arms even Eric who was the Alpha's twin brother.'' She pushed herself to stand upas sh placed her hands on the table, walking over to the large picture window to the window and just stared out of it. "Things began to get strange with Eric when he was around me. He had this smile that would freeze hot coals at he base of a fire, and when Dawson would say hi to me or any male for that matter Eric would become so aggressive to the other male to the point where he would sometimes attack them.'' She shook her head and went around the table into the kitchen and took things out of the refrigerator but still continued as she made sandwiches. "Eric gave me really bad vibes from the moment I met him, it was as if there was something evil about him, you could almost smell it. she shivered at the memory.
