Lalisa's Point of View
Today is such an extremely weird day. I have been flying around Seoul, South Korea. This is my first time roaming around in the world humans. I received a scroll from the Creator, and he asked me to guide a child to heaven. Usually, it is not my job to guide someone in heaven, because my job is to take care of the soul in heaven.
Seoul, South Korea is such a very busy place. People are walking everywhere, cars are driving somewhere, and I haven't seen anyone just sitting around.
I'm currently standing on top of this high tower that they call Namsan Tower. I can see everyone here, but they can't see me since I'm invisible.
I opened the scroll that the Creator gave me, I saw the name of the child and her photo.
"Ella Mckenzie Kim." I read it, it is such a nice long name compared to mine only Lalisa.
I took out my beautiful white wings and I started flying to where Ella's deathbed is.
I went inside the building, hid my wings, and started walking. Everyone can't see me, and they can't bump into me, they are just literally passing by my body.
"325...326.. Found it! 327."
I went inside to see a man in a suit and a woman's informal outfit. Then, I saw the girl that I would be going to guide and she laying in the bed with a machine attached to her.
I watched her family that currently also watching her, they are all sad about the child's situation. I chose to sit down beside the window to wait for her when suddenly someone opened the door loudly.
"What happen? I heard she is in a critical situation. How did this happen? You haven't found a heart?" A lady with feline eyes bombarded her parents with a question. Worry was evident in her beautiful feline eyes.
"We already found a heart, but the doctor said that there are small possibilities that the surgery will be successful because Ella is getting weaker and weaker." A woman around her late 40s responded to her.
"Then, what are we going to do now? Just watch her dying? Wait for her time?" I know she wanted to cry, but she just stopped herself. She wanted to look strong outside, but she broke inside.
"I don't know, we are still deciding yet whether to continue the surgery or not." A man spoke this time which earn a deadly glare from the feline-eyed girl.
All of a sudden, Ella slowly woke up and alarmed her family. I saw Ella looking directly at me, and we made eye contact which surprised me. I smiled at her, and she smiled back at me.
"Ella, are you OK? Are you still feeling unwell?" A lady with feline eyes asked her.
"U-unnie (Big sister)." Ella called to her weakly.
"Why? What's wrong? Tell me." Ella shook her head and she smiled.
"Unnie, do you believe in God?" She asked, which made her sister frown. "Or do you believe in angels?"
"Sorry to say, Ella, I no longer believe in that kind of thing when he doesn't hear my prayers. I have been praying for four (4) whole years for you to get well but nothing happened." She answered with disappointment in her voice and sighed. "There is no God and Angels."
I felt something heavy in my heart after she said that, it's not because your prayers aren't granted by God, it means there is no God. He had more good plans for everyone, and he had a good reason why we experience hardships so we should not judge him easily.
"She got hurt." Ella looked back at me, she really can see me. I thought no one could see me. Well, I guess there are some special cases.
"Who?"
Ella pointed at me and everyone in the room followed where she was pointing at.
"My Guardian Angel." She smiled widely at me and I smiled back. "She is so beautiful and her smile is so pretty."
"Ella, take a rest for now, OK? It might be an effect of a two-week coma." The lady caressed her hair and Ella pouted because she could see me, but her sister didn't believe it. "Stop pouting, I will just go to the hospital cafeteria to buy you some food. Wait for me here, OK?"
"Ne~" Ella answered cutely, which made me chuckle.
"Dad, Mom just text me if you have to leave." Her parents nodded, and she went out of the room.
