The beginning
*Trigger Warning s****l Abuse*
As Ana Hutton looked up at the building of the Silva Security Firm she wondered if she was making a mistake. She was here to ask them for help to find her father, but she was uncertain if she actually wanted to. The man had abandoned her mother while she was pregnant with Ana.
Ana’s mother was so broken by him that she turned to drinking and drugs. The house had become a biohazard. With insects crawling around, dirty dishes piled in the sink. The house hadn’t been cleaned in months, worst of all there was a pile of broken beer bottles underneath the stairs.
The neighbors had called CPS a dozen times but no one had done anything. When Ana was only 10 weeks old she had almost died of starvation, still no one did anything. Finally at 10 months old Ana was taken from her mother and put into a foster home, where she lived for about a year before she was then given to her step father. Growing up with him Ana knew deep down the man didn’t love her or care about her as a father should love his child.
He turned out to be just like her mother into drugs and drinking, though he was really good at hiding it from her. When Ana was 3 her stepfather left her in the care of her grandfather to go take care of his sick mother. Three weeks after her stepfather left her grandfather lay on the bed and forced her to put lotion on his private part. Being only 3 Ana was terrified, she thought if she told anyone he was going to kill her.
A month after her father left Ana and her Grandfather moved in with her Aunt and Uncle because her father never came back. Ana felt relieved that she wasn’t alone with her Grandfather anymore, she would play with her cousins and spend time with her Aunt. But that was cut short when her stepfather came back, he took Ana and gave her to a foster family. He told her he was going somewhere that could help him, and would come back to her in a couple of months. But Ana knew that he was lying, she wasn’t surprised when he never came back. She was then moved to live with a different foster family.
When Ana was 8 her foster family adopted her, Ana had been so happy thinking she had found her forever home. As she got older she felt like she was trapped in a cage, her parents never let her go out to spend time with friends, and she was never allowed to have friends over. Her parents never really trusted her, they put cameras in her room that record to keep an eye on her. They controlled the way she dressed, and what she could eat. She had to do all the chores around the house and do the yard work. The one thing she didn’t have to do was make dinner, her father did that.
Ana always felt alone and trapped. One day when she was at school she told one of her friends about how her parents treated her, she tried to convince Ana to call CPS on her parents but Ana wouldn’t, to scared of her parents. In 6th grade Ana had gotten into a fight with her mom and had told her she was going to move out. When she had told her friend, her friends mother convinced Ana to go back home. And so she had, but her father wouldn’t let her back in the house. So her friends mother had called the police. She was warned to never try to runaway again or she would be arrested.
As She got older Ana became a little rebellious. She would ask her friends to bring her clothes she could wear at school, there where times she would sneak clothes to school as well. Even when she got caught it didn’t stop her, she was going to do what she wanted.
After she graduated high school Ana went to a college where she could live on campus away from her controlling parents giving her the freedom she needed. With her new freedom Ana was able to let loose and enjoy the life she never had. Because of everything she had gone through Ana decided to become a child’s counselor. She wanted to help children who were in the same situation she had been in.
Her senior year of high school Ana decided she wanted to find her father. But the only thing she knew about him was his name, Andrew Jones. So here she was standing in front of the Silva Security Firm. She had heard they were good at tracking people down.
