Chapter 44 - An Important Dinner
Alexa jolted upwards with a loud gasp as she suddenly woke from her deepened sleep. She began frantically looking around the room with wide open eyes as they quickly filled with frightened tears and her entire body began to tremble. Her breaths were coming out short and shallow as she fought the panic threatening to take her over entirely. What had happened to the man who tried to kill her? And where were the other men who came in and saved her life, right in the nick of time? Where was she? It seemed she was now alone in this room. Glancing downwards, she noticed that she had been redressed into a large baby blue dress shirt and a clean pair of black silk boxers. She immediately recoignised both items of clothing having belonged to Dante and began to relax a little more with that
