Prologue
I stood paralyzed in fear, staring at the man in his dirty clothes. He was walking slowly toward me. My mouth felt so dry. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. He was way taller and stronger than me. He looked at me like I was his prey. His hands covered in blood and his eyes were pitch black. My eyes darted around trying to find an escape route. He was in the way of reaching the door. Only thing I had was my mace in my hand. He was going to have to get close for me to do it. I was shaking so bad I didn't know if I could handle the spray. As he got closer, I sprayed him in the eyes and took off running toward the door. i could hear him cry out.
" You can't run far Kitten. I love a good chase. "
I ran through the door to the back ally, cussing myself out for stopping for coffee at night in this shady area. I turn left and can hear him running behind me. My heart now pounding in my ears.
"Come here kitten. I promise not to eat you like the big bad wolf in the story. "
I could hear the man getting closer to me as I turn around the corner right into a closed ally. Turning around I see he stopped running. Grinning like the cat that ate the canary. My back hit the wall hard. I had no where to go. The stranger was in front of me now.
Running his hand down my cheek, I felt the tears start to fall.
"Please don't hurt me. I didn't see anything and I won't tell"
"Oh, kitten. It's to late for that. We are going to have some fun. You smell so devine."
As he pinned me to the wall, running his hands all over my body, he forced me to open my mouth to kiss him. As he slid his tongue in my mouth, I bit down on his.
" I was going to be nice kitten, but you pissed me off."
He hit me so hard, my head bounced off the wall. I could feel myself getting dizzy and falling. I fell to the ground, taking him with me. This is it, he is going to r**e me and kill me. I closed my eyes, ready for my fate. Then I didn't feel him any more, I heard shouting and the sound of fists flying. I could barely open my eyes to see the stranger on the ground beside me. Above me, the last thing I saw, was the most beautiful and familiar grey eyes, then I blacked out.
