ALPHA RYAN (BLOOD MOON)

Chapter 1

RIANA

I am pissed at this guy because he had the audacity to talk about how I am dressed without even knowing me. Yet I am drawn to his face, body, and aura. I cannot stop staring at this delicious chunk of meat before my eyes. Just shut up Riana I tell myself; I should not even be thinking like this.

'Wow, what a turn of events.' I hear Raid finally speak up to break the silence that developed between Ryan and me.

My parents are shocked to say the least and my dad looks close to pissed, I do not know why. I see mom dragging him away from us. Everyone still had shocked expressions painted on their faces, even though they are or at least pretending to what they were doing before the revelation. I could hear some stupid comments, some of disappointment but mostly jealousy. How stupid they are, did they by any chance forget about our super hearing abilities? I chose to ignore them and stare down this tall man in front of me. 

'Well, hello there Ryan or should I now address you as Alpha Ryan? It's been a while.’ Raid says extending his hand to greet Ryan. Ryan takes Raids hand and greets him back with a firm looking grip from my point of view.

‘I didn't know you had a sister.’ Ryan says with a raised eyebrow.

‘She my beta, remember I told you my beta hated the meetings we had, hence I used to come with my omega.’ Raid explains to Ryan, while I try to ignore them and their conversation, but it is not so easily. My ears will not let me be.

‘I see.’ Ryan says while rubbing the imaginary beard on his chin and looking straight at me.

‘I can smell the f*****g testosterone in the air.’ I mutter under my breath and roll my eyes. They are talking about me like I am not even here.

'What'd you say Riana?' Raid asks with amusement in his voice.

'Nothing Raid, nothing at all, what a load of bullshit this is, I'm off to get myself a drink.’ I make a 180 degree turn and attempt to walk away, but I am stopped on by tracks by rough, yet gentle and strong hand takes hold of my hand. I look down at Ryan’s hold on my hand and look up at him.

'Won't you talk to me?'  Ryan calmly asks.

'Don't touch lover boy.’  I laugh a little shocked that he thinks he has the right to touch me.

‘Uhm no, too many things happened tonight I need my space, so prince charming back the hell off.’ I pull away from his touch and stare at him annoyed.

He looks stunned for a second but regains his composure and realises my hand and I turn and walk away, leaving him and Raid together.

'Hold up sis, right behind you.' I hear Raid call out to me after biding Ryan goodbye.

 ***RYAN

'Knock, Knock.’ I hear my mom say as she appears at my office door.

'Come in mom.’  She walks in and sits down on the chair opposite me, as I am seated behind my desk.

'Are you okay? I can understand how you feel, well not really because I did not reject the presence of your father when we found each other. I heard what she said. How are you?'

'I'm an Alpha mom I’ll manage no need to worry about me.’ I say looking down at the digitalised documents on my desk.

'You're my son and that still doesn't answer how you're doing Ryan.’ My mother pushes on the question.

'She flat out ignored me the entire evening mom, after she called me lover boy and prince charming. She is rude and arrogant as hell I mean she is f*****g sexy but come on! A little respect never killed anyone'.

'Language Ryan, you're Alpha but I'm still your mom don’t cuss when I’m around.’ My mother looked at me and slightly frowned.

'Sorry.’ I say looking at my mother.

'Now you have to try winning her heart and gaining her trust. Some mates are more stubborn than others so you will have try harder than normal. She looks like a feisty one.’ My mother chuckles and goes back to being serious.

'Win her heart? We are mates I should not have to try so hard. The bond should be pulling us together. She flat out laughed with other males at the ceremony besides me.’ I huffed in frustration.

'You're touchy Ryan, she probably did it to spite you.’  Mother says.

'She's mine mother and I'm going to get her no matter what. I hate the idea of sharing. I will not tolerate any form of bullshit against me.'  

'Ryan don't push too much, you will bring destruction upon yourself and her.’

'We will have to see about that won't we mom.' She simply sighs before getting up from the chair and heading towards the door.

'Don't say I didn't warn you Ryan, goodnight son.' She blows me an air kiss and closes the door behind her.

Mom may be right, but I cannot stay back. Riana needs to come stays with me as soon as possible; My wolf wants to mate with her wolf so badly. I mean I want to mate with her too. She smelt like mint and spring. I was fighting against pulling her to my chest and kissing her crazy, until her lips swelled up. She is driving me insane, and she is all I have been f*****g thinking about ever seen I laid my eyes on her. I need to schedule the day to go to her pack or she will see me. She might not be happy to see me or might not even want to see me, but I will be damned to see her fight me. She belongs with her Alpha. She needs to know her place, I feel like although I need her with me, she might actually break me, the only person who can.
