There was no way I was going to let him off that easily, I was hurt and angry with the way Lincoln had acted, if only it were that easy to find it in me to punish him. I wished I could ignore him and make his life a living hell, in the way he had been doing with me for all of those challenging months, but the mate bond would never allow that.
