Suzan's pov
When we got home, Julian was already hyper due to his high sugar intake. I made a mental note to hide all remaining sweets from him for this coming week.
"Look who's back," Colin grinned as we walked into the kitchen. The aroma of food wafted through my nose making me feel a bit hungry.
"Colin!" Julian ran over to him for a hug while I went to get water from the fridge.
"How was your adventure at the park?" Colin asked him as he placed him on the counter to sit.
"It was really fun. And Mommy bought me ice cream. It was big!" Julian widened his hands for emphasis. Colin looked at me and I shrugged.
"it wasn't that big. And he was all worn out," I defended. I just bought him a tub of Ben and Jerry's after his cookie dough cone.
