  SUZAN'S POV   The atmosphere of this party was filled with snobbishness and pride. It was nearly choking.   I never liked these events—charity events to be precise. I knew most people only did this so they could get more money and cover it up with 'helping the needy'.   But two days ago, I was sent an email and Grace brought me a golden invitation. The Mayor wanted to raise funds to support three orphanages. Knowing it would be a good opportunity to network a little bit, I decided it would be best to go.
