Adrien
It has been nearly the entire day since I've been in this cafe doing my work here because I wanted some fresh air and I wanted to be away from the office.
I've been here since lunch and right now I don't even know what the time is but I'm assuming it's late because besides the staff, I'm the only one here.
-------------------------------
The entire staff at the cafe besides, Annalise and Brenda, have left for home since it was really late. Brenda was sitting at one of the tables checking if everything was recorded properly for today's sales and expenses.
Annalise was just standing near the cash registers scrolling through socials on her phone.
Anna was beyond drained because of the amount of studying she had to do and running the cafe at the same time, after some her eyelids were getting heavy and her head soon hit the countertop and in no time her eyes were closed.
Brenda looked in Anna's direction and saw she had fallen asleep. She walked over to where Anna was standing and decided to wake her up.
"Anna, you can go hunny okay, I'll close up. You need to rest."
"No no Betty, it's okay. It's nearly eleven and I usually sleep early in the morning so don't worry about me." Anna responded trying to not sound tired but that failed miserably.
Anna walked over to where 'Anonymous' was sitting.
"Uhm sorry to disturb you sir but need to close up, it's getting late and I suggest you go home before the streets get quiet." Anna said in a soft tired voice. She did though put on a confident face but her eyebags were giving her away.
"My apologies miss, I didn't realise it was this late." Adrien responded as nicely as he could given he too was tired, even though he had ordered numerous cups of coffee.
He really felt bad for keeping the two workers in the shop for so long given that after midnight, these streets were unsafe to travel on, alone.
"Uhm actually, I'll give you two a lift to your places to make sure you get back home safely." Adrien added on since it was least he could do, in his opinion, for keeping them here for so long. "I insist." He said after seeing a hint of hesitation in Anna's eyes.
This was perfect for both Anna and Brenda since Anna had to take her car to the dealership and Brenda didn't own one.
"Uhm, okay if you insist." Anna was so flustered and she could feel her cheeks burning red. She started fiddling with her hair to help her cope with her anxiety. Adrien just chuckled seeing her behaviour which, in his honest opinion, was really cute. "Uhm by the way, thank you sir." Anna said after gaining back her sanity.
"It's the least I could do." Adrien responded trying to suppress a chuckle.
After a couple of minutes, Brenda and Anna found themselves in Adrien's car, which modestly speaking, was so beautiful. Brenda was in the front seat along with the driver and Adrien was in the back seat alongside Anna who had fallen asleep in the car.
To Adrien's surprise, Brenda and Charles, the driver, were having a conversation which they both seemed to enjoy, it looks they both needed company.
Adrien was surprised when he turned his face only to find Anna in a deep slumber. He chuckled to himself and decided to ask Brenda for Anna's address so he can drop her off without having to wake her up now.
After dropping off Brenda they drove over to Anna's place which was in a quieter part of town, a five minute drive from Adrien's place.
"Anna.... we've arrived wake up." He tried to sound gentle but because he was tired he ended up with his voice being deep.
"Oh uhm thank you sir. Have a great evening." She woke up and said her goodbyes to both Adrien and Charles.
They drive off to Adrien's apartment.

After arriving home I take a shower and eat a ready made meal which is lasagne. I'm not the best cook so I won't even bother trying in case I burn the food, or even worse, start a flame.
After I finished eating my dinner I head to my bedroom and decide to watch one episode of my favourite series.
But as much as I try to focus on the series I just can't get stop thinking about that who works in the coffee shop, Anna.
Call me crazy or whatever but she really impressed me given that the girls in this town are a bunch of snobs who are spoilt and just are purely lazy.
But Anna, she's so respectful, humble and just the most adorable person I've ever met.
It's a shame I have no one to share my life's details with since my nearest family is just... meh and we aren't necessarily on speaking terms and the rest is either in Canada or Italy, how nice.
Back to reality.
I'd really like to get to know Anna but with my busy schedule I honestly don't see that happening anytime soon.
After getting the company to recover then I'll definitely find a way to get to know her better.

After being dropped off by Anonymous I immediately head straight to my bathroom and take a quick hot shower.
I change into my fleece pyjama set and I just flop myself onto my bed after a long and hard day of school and work.
But before I fall into a deep slumber, I decide to start working on my research.
Research for what you may ask...
Well since I'm doing my PhD part-time, this means I can get a part time job as a coperate lawyer and gain experience for when I'm actually done with school. So at the moment I'm looking for any open vacancies and hopefully I get a job soon.
After about thirty minutes scrolling through numerous websites my attention shifts to a popular company name and I quickly click on the website.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I literally jump and start screaming after realising which company has open vacancies.
A whole Dalton Holdings is looking to hire coperate lawyers and even has this amazing program for those who don't have experience but are aspiring coperate lawyers, such as me.
I quickly fill in the online form and enter all the necessary and required details before I shut my laptop and attempt to fall asleep even though my head is buzzing with thoughts about the job I just signed up for. I really hope I get in the program cause this company is like the most awesome and most successful company in the North Pacific East.
After what seems like forever thinking about this program, my mind slips to tonight's events.
Now I have the more reason to do some digging on Anonymous.
Not like creepy stalker vibes but like he is good-looking and so far from what I've seen, he also seems like a genuine and kind person.
I catch myself smiling at the thought of us having an actual conversation aside from me taking his order almost every morning which by now I've memorized.
If this is what having a crush looks like then please remind me to try my best to never ever lay my eyes on another man ever again. Anonymous is already doing damage.
Quite funny I think of it now, I never got his name or anything about him because my dumb ass had to be sleepy, and even worse, fall asleep on the entire car ride.
After overthinking about how I could've made an effort in getting to know Anonymous, I finally fall into a deep slumber that my body has been craving the entire night.
