Double the Blessing
Nine months Later Destiny and Patrick moved into a Home together in
Ann Arbor, Michigan. She still was working at her Nursing Job. Patrick
was still managing and owned the Shelter with his twin. Devin still was
a Ford Worker. Patrica moved in with Devin and redecorated his whole
house. Dana and Darin was still working hard at Jesus is Lord's Baptist
church, saving souls. Amber was still working at the nursing home
caring for her sister, while Anthony was in Daycare, Adam in 11th
grade, and Adonis living with them in a four bedroom home in
Belleville, Michigan. They all still attended church regularly. Amber kept
in contact with her two close friends.
"Ahhh", Destiny and Patrica both hollered out in pain as They were in
the same hospital room at U OF M. Devin held on to Patrica's hands in
agony because she held on to it for dear life. Destiny was biting down
on Patrick's shirt. They both was pushing. “Take a deep breath, The mid
wife’s said to them both. Oh God, The pain is unbearable.” Patrica
screamed out. Okay baby, push!” Patrica's voice became deep as she
told Devin, “ I AM PUSHING”! Devin just stood there taking the pain she
was giving back to him, praying that she didn't kill him. Destiny just
screamed and pushed.
At 11:42 am amazingly Destiny and Patrica pushed out two babies at
the same time. Destiny had two healthy baby girls. Paris and Paige.
Both 8pds and 4 oz. Patrica pushed out two baby boys. Devon and
Damon. 9Pds and 5 oz. The babies were born on January 14th! Darin
and Dana stood in them room with both their cameras taking pictures
none stop. They baby girls resembled Patrica and the baby boys
resembled Devin. Same eye color and hair for each pair. Devin and
Patrick had tears of Joy. They all were so happy. Amber had rushed into
their rooms. “Praise God, the babies are here and every one made it
through!”
"God is Good." Dana said. Everybody said together.
“All the time!” Everybody laughed out in joy. The girls couldn't wait to
take the babies to their newly built nursery's thanks to their handy
Husbands. When they all arrived home the Men made sure their wife’s
didn't have to lift a finger. They made them stay in bed
for 6 weeks unless they had to get up to use the rest rooms or
go to their appointments. They even got up during the night with the
babies and fed them, diapered them. The girls breast fed so the only
time they fed them if the girls pumped milk into the bottles.
Dana couldn't stay away from all four of her grand babies. Dana walked
into Destiny's room, while Devin was out on errands. Daughter, I am so
proud of you, you and Devin both give me two sets of twins before the
Lord call's me and you Father home. You two are really heaven sent.
Your spouses lost the only family they had and you two have been their
soul mates all along. Sitting in the same church home. Isn't God
magnificent Daughter? Yes Mom, he is! Destiny said with tears in her
eyes. Remember that if it is in God's will, it will be so. God knows the
best for you. I was thinking back around the time that I prayed Chavez
out of your life, asking God for it to be permanent, Daughter?”
Yes Ma'am! I really didn't mean for him to go and mess up another girl's
life or die.” Dana said with sincerity. “I know mom, it is okay, Chavez, he
didn't want to be saved. He was pure evil. I think it started from his
mom. She use to beat him as a child. One night he came in a just
opened up to me and cried in my lap. I felt so bad for him, and I guess
that is why it was so hard for me to let him go. I felt bad for him. But I
couldn't understand why he would want to make me feel the same
pain. I figured out that in some people that is the only ting that makes
them feel strong and confident in themselves. It is sad but true.” “Yes
daughter, that makes sense. I just wish the boy had a chance to change
is life around before it was too late.” Yeah
Mom, I know! Well God sure do bring blessings into the world.” Dana
said. Well daughter get some rest, I have my grands. She kissed Dana
and left out of her room into her bedroom. Destiny read out
Colossians 1:9-12 out loud. For this cause we also, since the day we
heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be
filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual
understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of
God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto
all patience and long suffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the
Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of
the saints in light: Patrick walked in their room in the beginning of her
scripture reading and joined in with her.
Patrick walked over to his other half and held her hands as tears
dropped out of the both of their beautiful eyes. They both ended
together in Amen. Patrick said to Destiny, “Destiny Hope, you are my
Destiny and I will love you for the rest of my Life, and where you are
broken within I will repair you with my love.” Destiny squeezed his
hand and he kneeled down and kissed her passionately on her lips.
THE END!
