Erik's Confession

It's been three months since she was here, and she slowly love the idea of working with this company. she wonders how it actually feels to be piloting and amazing shuttle? she is always been thankful for the gift that she had. she never imagined she will met someone like her. Being accepted and chosen to do this work makes her feel at home with all the people around her. For the past years in her life she always feel different and unwanted, it feels good to finally have some people who knows her real power and identity and she feel special about it. Then she thought about Jared and her hearts skips faster again. whenever she remember him, she can't control herself, it feels like Jared is haunting her head. Is this because of the kiss? ah, Rogue Saar you are impossible.

"Let's go" just when she is thinking about him Jared softly whisper beside her ear. Rogue unvoluntarily closed her eyes because of the closeness and the effect it was making. "Rogue, I said lets go" Jareds face is a little irritated., but she notice, he is wearing a little casual today, pale blue Wharton men's polo dress pair Khaki chino pants, he look and smells fresh. She hurriedly snap her face and move forward towards the exit when she the irritation of Jareds face again. They are going to the Mall today. Her face instantly lit up with excitement.

In front of them is 2021 Lamborghini Huracán STO

"After you?" Jared was amused with her mood.

After half an hour they are already in the building. Erik welcome them in the entrance with open arms. He is always been heartwarming person.

"Rogue" he open his arms for hug and softly kissed her left cheeks. Rogue blushed with his gusture.

Erik put her hands under his arms and they walk together the stores. Rogue was already used with Erik and she forgot about Jared who is just watching them from the back.

They lost track of the time, rogue can't count how many store they've entered, LV, Gucci, Hermes, Charvit, Cornelliani, and a lot more luxury stores. She was so glad for Erik, he is very patient and thoughtful with her throughout the tour. Just like what he always do. She thought to herself, why can't I like Erik the way I like Jared? they are so opposite with each other. Speaking of Jared, Our eyes meet again, he look angry and a little sad, my heart is skipping , I was so drown in his intent gaze, he looks like he wanted to kill me with his eyes. I can't help but bite my lower lips while looking at him. Then I saw how his expression change, it softens a little and he just turn his back and walk away fast from us.

"Jared, wait up." Erik called, "the cashier was just about to finish Bro" I lower my gaze as I see Jared is looking at me again.

"I will go home first Erik, I'm already tired and I know you will bring Rogue to the Quarter yourself, so I'll bring the car, see you there Erik" and Jared turn his look to me and nod, I nod with him as well.

Erik is talking to me about his plan for my graduation, he said all the chosen will have a special thanks giving after it's training, he is asking me what I think about it, my real identity to the people inside the quarter is limited. other staff and employee knows that I'm a pilot but only trusted few knows about the real business, hide the real work they have Erik has an airline to cover his major business. " yeah sure Erik" I reply shortly, I became in interested with everything after Jared left.

Erik slowly look at any hold my hands. "Are you okay Rogue?" "yes." I said " I'm fine Erik" I smile to Erik to hide my did interest, I don't want to did appoint him.

He smiles back at me. he said " Rogue, you are very beautiful" looking intently to me. I was of guarded by his words. " I'm sorry" he said," I shouldn't have said that"

he blushed and also sudden by his words. " I'm sorry again, Rogue, I didn't mean to startled you, please don't get mad at me" there is a short silent " I think, I like you Rogue" he added

I didn't know what to say, I didn't say anything. I was just looking at him, I didn't think he will say this to me this early. It was just 3 months we have known each other.

"I know, you are confused but I like you the moment we met in your planet, I don't know Rogue, you are always in my mind, I care about you, I want to make you happy and safe all the time. So what do you think am I feeling, why am I feeling like this to you?"

I smile from his sentence. " No Erik, I'm not mad, its just that I didn't see this xoming, you are so good to me, I always enjoy your company and I don't want to ruin the friendship that we had already" I'm really confused now. " And besides, you are my Boss"

It was his turn to smile. " it's okey, Rogue, I said I like you, I didn't say you have to like me back also".

All the way to Quarter I was quiet, Erik on the other hand feels guilty with what he said to me. When I was about to get down from the car, Erik stop my hand and said " I meant what I said Rogue, I will prove to you I'm serious" and let go of my hands.

I hurriedly get back inside the Quarter when I bump into someones big arms, Jared hold both my arms tightly so I will not fall, when I lift my face up, I saw Jareds handsome face, our lips was so close, I wanted to savour the moment. " Are you okey? " a hear a little tremble from his voice. " yes" I sound hoarsely.

Then he hurriedly drop my arms, I almost fell. " watch where you going next time" he softly said without looking at me.
