My body is aching and I'm so tired and exhausted from the workout and training we have made today. I was pulling, pushing, circling and running from the arena, I lifted a super heavy metal thing. Jared is throwing me some metallic object too and that makes it more hard for me because I know he is intentionally using force and I've got to catch it carefully and forcefully so that I will not fall, my whole muscle is hurt. "hey" I was starting to glare at him. and then he glares back at me, I can't look at his face for long so I drop my eyes and lower my voice . "can you make it a little careful ". I regret why I've complain because it makes me more uncomfortable, but my pride is hurt,
"OK one last run around Arena and we call this a day"
When he say run from the arena you have to take a simulator and pass through a virtual training, each day is different level.
Today, I was drop in a big jungle surrounded with big trees, tall grasses and different creepy creatures,. Rogue knew she is strong and can handle herself whenever she go but she hates to under go this simulation that's why she keeps complaining on thier face-to-face training.
She observe his voice seem a little sorry and he also sound sad, he looks guilty. Ever since she accepted Nikolis offer to work for them he is not talking to her, he always makes her life difficult. Sometimes Rogue feel like he is intentionally making it more difficult for her, but Why? She wanted to ask him but of course she didn't. Something in his glare, no, if he is not glaring at her he looks so drown on whatever she is doing, It makes her heart flutter. And the truth is the more he seem to be so distant to her it makes Rogue curious and interested in him.
Their eyes where locked while they are talking,' I felt my heart is skipping' Rogue thought. Jared is mysterious.
"Can I just skip this last run? " I ask
"What? " he was curious about my requests
"And run just straight to your heart? " I kid with a big smirk in my face.
I didn't expect his reaction, He gave me a big smile and said
"Whatever" and he walk out to the door.
I know I have made him laugh and this gives me hope he can be good to me.
Seeing Jared smile about my joke makes me feel happy, I didn't know but the loneliness I've felt for the past 3 months is slowly fading, I was getting used of the life I have here in this place. In the morning after I wake up, usually around 5am, I will start my daily prayer, I'm a strong believer of Higher Maker, I know everything happens in my life has a purpose and reason. I thank Him for the strength and power I have now, the company makes it clear to her that she will be much paid and her family will be secure for the rest of their lives if she will become one of thier chosen few pilots. To be honest it's hard not to accept the offer because ever since she is a child she never felt accepted by her peer children. They are afraid of her and won't want to be her friend, she grew up to be a loner but not naive, she knew the advantage of her power and would usually explore how far can she make with her gift. One-day she climb one of the highest mountain in their planet using her gift, it only took her a minute to reach the top and when she saw a big tree she try to push it, she pushed it so hard the tree fall instantly she didn't know a group of people was out there watching her, it made a big news to thier town her parents had to move from another town where nobody know her and her capabilities.
I saw my self in front of a museum, Erol ask me to meet him here, he wants to show me something, he said it is important for me to learn the history and the important people in this world.
This is our schedule, in the morning I will be meeting with Jared for the physical training and in the afternoon with him.
While Erol is talking, Rogue can't help herself wonder how opposite the two guys are, both where strikingly handsome. He stare at Erol while he is talking, he looks so intelligent and dignified. Well of course he is the owner of this multimillion dollar company and his family is a well known scientists and great inventors of history. Rogue thought .
He talks about his family background, the history of the discovery of the planets, the dates and time of the making of the space shuttle and the day the NICOLI company was built, she was really amuse and amaze all the time he is talking, she was glad she had known this information and was glad to Erol for sharing the story to her. but she's been so tired on her physical training in the morning she unconsciously yawn during their lecture, Rogue also knew to herself she don't like history and long lecture dulls her, she wants action and adventure, she wants spontaneous and active workouts.
Rogue felt guilty, she don't want to disappointed Erol he is so kind to her, she tried her best to listen carefully and more attentively this time.
