"Great. We would love it if you could take some stunning pictures for the movie's cover. It would be sophisticated and filled with vibes." Stewart answered back.
"That is great. I am ready if you are."
"You might need help with the fitting so we had to bring the designer from his home here," He said then paused as Richard stopped forward. "Meet Mr. Walker. One of the greatest designers in the world."
Ivy could not contain the rage brewing inside of her. Was he following her around at this point?
"I...I am so sorry but he would make the dress fit me?" Ivy questioned calmly even though anger had risen inside of her.
Stewart nodded.
"Yes but if you don't need his help, you can use your assistant. She sure knows how this works right?"
Stacy shook her head.
Ivy bit her lips as she noticed Richard's amused expression. She had no choice. Even though she had won an award, she could not afford to let the opportunity of such a great hit slip out of her fingers.
"Sure. I will try it on and we will be back soon." she retorted and walked away with the white towel around her waist.
Stacy took the garment bag from Stewart's assistant and rushed after Ivy who stormed into the building.
Ivy pushed the door of the dressing room and stepped inside then flung the towel on the chair as the door closed. Stacy walked in, closing the door quietly as she held the garment bag in her other hand.
"Why would they choose him out of all the people?" Ivy asked herself as she slumped on the chair.
Stacy blinked in confusion as she placed the garment bag on the table gently. "Are you talking about Mr. Walker? Isn't he one of the best designers? Is that not a good thing?"
"No, it's not." Ivy rolled her eyes then continued. "He's so insufferable."
"Do I check the dress now?"
Ivy nodded and watched as Stacy hung the bag on the rack then slowly opened it. Inside the bag was a breathtaking dress, long and sleek. The craftsmanship was undeniable and the way it shimmered under the dressing room lights made Ivy's irritation pause for a bit.
The fabric looked so expensive and Ivy was moved to stand.
"Wow...this is beautiful," Stacy admitted as her eyes lingered on the drapes. "He is truly one of the best."
Ivy rolled her eyes as she ran her hand through the drapes. "That doesn't make him less annoying."
"Do you get you into it before Stewart comes knocking or do you still want to insult him?"
"Let's do this," Ivy replied as she slid off the bikini then Stacy helped her with the gown. It hugged her body perfectly and complemented her curves. Ivy admired her reflection in the mirror while Stacy stepped back slowly.
"This is so cool. It looked like it was made for you!" Stacy let out softly.
"It..it isn't that bad," Ivy admitted as she placed her hand on her hips.
Just then they heard a knock on the door and as Stacy walked to the door, the door opened and Richard Walker stepped in. His eyes wavered on Ivy while her expression hardened.
Stacy on the other hand froze. "Mr. Mr. Walker?"
"Chill. I'm here to just check the fitting." He retorted as he walked towards Ivy. Something unreadable flashed through his eyes. "Good. It seems the dress fits."
Ivy folded her arms. "You know I'm aware of your plans right?"
"What plans?" Richard inquired.
"Um..I should go." Stacy proclaimed as she walked out, closing the door behind her.
"Showing up everywhere I go. Isn't that sinister plan too obvious? Why don't you change it?"
Richard stepped closer, his expression calm as ever. "Miss Ashby." He started, his eyes glued on hers. "If I wanted to follow you, you wouldn't even notice."
The room suddenly felt smaller and Ivy's heart pounded hard in her chest. She shut her eyes closed then exhaled sharply while Richard walked around her, studying the gown.
"The waist...it needs a little adjustment." He muttered and before Ivy could protest, he reached his hands to the back of the fabric and pulled her close to him. Ivy's hands landed on his chest while Richard's fingers worked at her back.
"There," He let out as he stepped back. "That is a perfect dress."
Ivy's breath had caught as his hands circled her waist but she steadied her breathing and glared at him.
"I did not ask for your help."
Unfazed, Richard raised her hands to her hair and removed the hairpin holding her hair. Her long hair fell on her shoulders lusciously, leaving Ivy in a daze.
"That's better. Now, the hair and the model complement the outfit so well." Richard said, a faint smile on his lips while Ivy remained quiet. "Stewart is waiting. I've done my part."
She watched as he walked out, anger and something she could not lay her hands on flashing in her eyes. Stacy then walked in, her expression uneasy.
"Are you done? They're waiting." She let out softly.
Ivy groaned then exhaled sharply. "Calm your nerves, Ivy. You have to look good and calm for your shot." She said then adjusted her hair gently over her shoulders.
She then headed back to the pool while Stacy followed suit, adjusting the fabric as she walked.
As she arrived at the set, eyes fell on her as she walked towards Stewart.
"Wow..what do we have here? You look stunning for the shoot. Mr. Walker has done his miracle once again." Stewart said then added. "Come on guys, let's get this model ready for her shoot and set the background."
Aria approached Ivy and led her to a small dressing room set in the corner. After applying makeup on her face, the shoot began. Ivy felt relieved as she could see Richard around. He must have left. After posing for the camera for several hours, the shooting ended and Ivy went to her room, exhausted.
Meanwhile, Richard stepped out of the shower, cleaning his head with his towel. From what he noticed, the workers on the set loved ivy. She seemed like their favorite and they showered her with so much love.
