Chapter 13The suggestion of a voice in her earpiece made Margot stop and turn off the welding torch she’d been using. “Say again?” she said. “Ramirez is heading your way,” Johaan said. “Right, thanks.” Margot set down the welding torch on its stand so that the residual heat didn’t scorch the metal deck of the cargo bay, and pulled off the welder’s mask, and gloves. She dropped them to the deck and sat on a crate. Without the roar of the torch, she soon heard footsteps approaching. Johaan was up in Systems, working on his plans for the computer, but he had cameras trained on the area surrounding where they’d set up to work on the mixing vessels, and could warn of anyone approaching. It should only ever be one of the group in the know, since they’d chosen a quiet corner of a cargo hangar
