Chapter 14“Wow, we’re really doing this,” Eileen said, as the team gathered in the mess hall at 02:00. Everything was set. The mixing vessels were ready to be moved to the stasis modules. Izzy had recruited Eileen, Keli, Thomas and Phil to be the rest of the team. All of them woken normals, not crew. The captain hadn’t even put the medics on standby, because the medics were all crew and therefore potential suspects. She hadn’t spoken to the two people who had loved ones among the ghouls yet. She’d be waking them and doing so right after the operation.
The team had been told to get some rest the day before and to meet in the mess at 02:00. They found coffee and some pastries there with the captain and Johaan when they arrived, and people drank the coffee, but nobody seemed very interested
