Contract Marriage with a Billionaire

CHAPTER 5

Royal took Mina out of the wedding hall, leaving the family in total shock. Their eyes wide open and their mouth parted like that was the most shocking scene they've ever seen in their whole entire lives.

Getting outside the wedding hall, in front of a Lamborghini Aventador, Royal stopped walking and left Mina's hand.

“ What was that about?” Mina asked slowly.

“ So were you planning on standing there while she hit you? Are you a fool?” Royal asked, his phoenix eyes staring deep into Mina's eyes.

“ You don't know anything, so you are not entitled to judge me” Mina muttered and began to fidget with her nails.

“ I see, I apologise for intruding into your personal life” Royal muttered, entered into his Lamborghini Aventador and drove off at full speed. It was obvious he was mad.

“ Why would he get mad when he barely even knows me? What's up with that weird man?” Mina mumbled as she watched his car disappear into the road.

She was heading back to the wedding hall when she realised she didn't even ask for his phone number.

Since they were married, Mina would want to draft out a contract between them since they were both gaining from the marriage.

“ s**t! I didn't even ask for his phone number. I only know his name” she muttered and sighed before walking back into the wedding hall to get her phone and returning back home.

Getting to the hall, her mother, father, Rosa and Jace confronted her.

“ What was that, Mina? Who is that man?” Rita asked, glaring daggers at Mina.

“ Mom, he is my husband. Rosa can now have Jace to herself” Mina muttered and walked out on them.

“ What do you mean by that?” Rita turned with a raised brow but Mina was too tired to give an explanation to her mom, so she just gave her a simple answer.

“ You can ask your favourite daughter about it,” Mina said lazily and walked away.

Rita turned to Rosa, who had a nervous smile on. If her mother eventually finds out that she was the reason Mina's wedding became a mess, she would be as good as dead.

“ Mom, why are you staring at me that way? Do you really believe what she said? She's just trying to blame me for her misfortunes” Rosa lied and Rita calmed down.

“ I will make sure I deal with that nuisance of a daughter!” Rita gritted and stormed out of the hall with her husband behind her.

Seeing that everyone was gone, remaining both of them, Jacee faced Rosa with a sigh.

“ What do we do, babe?” He asked, but Rosa glared at him.

“ Don't call me such in an open place like this. Do you want us to get caught?” Rosa gritted her teeth.

“ No,” Jace muttered.

“ So what are we going to do about Mina? I hope she won't blow off our covers?” Jace asked with fear in his voice.

Jace Norman is from a middle-class family who is not as wealthy as the Ryan family, but he was able to get their approval to marry Mina because of how handsome and popular he was in New York City.

“ Mina?” Rosa scoffed with a small smile,“ she's the least of my worries now. We can just shut her up, after all her husband is coming to take her away” Rosa said.

“ Does it mean that Papa John won't give me the company?” Jace asked with wide eyes.

“ I said you should calm down!” Rosa glared up. “ Give me time to think and come up with a plan” she rolled her eyes and walked away, leaving Jace all by himself in the now empty wedding hall.

NEXT DAY

Everyone was downstairs for breakfast except for Mina who came down after a few minutes.

All eyes fell on her as she joined the breakfast. She wasn't concerned about the numerous pairs of eyes on her.

Because of her wedding, many relatives, and family friends came for the wedding, so they were all having breakfast in the house.

“ Why are you still here? Aren't you supposed to go to your husband's house?” Rosa asked as she sipped from her wine. Mina fell silent because she had nothing to say. She wasn't even sure if Royal would come get her after leaving the wedding venue angrily.

“ Can't you reply? Or you suddenly turned mute?” Rosa glanced at Mina who was eating silently without replying.

“ She has finally grown wings since she just got married” Juliet, Mina's cousin who is closer to Rosa than she is to Mina said.

“ Why don't you also get married and stop forcing words out of my mouth? The fact that I didn't reply, shouldn't you have minded your business?” Mina retorted, making Juliet scoff angrily.

“ Do you realise I am older than you? How dare you talk to me like that?” Juliet flared up, glaring at Mina who didn't even care or mind if she was talking.

“ Enough!” Papa John slammed his hand angrily on the dining table, making everyone flinch in fear.

“ Why would you ask her such a question? She already got married and would leave this house whenever she pleases, so stop pestering her” Papa John said while Rita scowled.

“ Taking sides again, Father,” she muttered.

“ She has every right to leave whenever she pleases” Papa John said.

Everywhere fell silent once again only the sound of cutlers was heard, not until the honk of a car was heard outside the Ryan mansion.

“ Who is that?” Papa John asked.

“ No idea,” Juliet replied.

“ I would get the door,” Rosa said and left the dinning room to go see who was honking outside their house.

On getting outside, she fell speechless when she saw three luxurious and flashy cars waiting with bodyguards guiding the cars.

“ What is happening here? Who do you seek from this place” Rosa asked one of the bodyguards.

“ We are here to get the boss's wife,” the bodyguard replied.

“ There's no one here who is the boss's wife,” Rosa replied. She was confused about who they were referring to.

She was sure that the man Mina got married to was not wealthy enough to have such flashy cars, so she just assumed they had come to the wrong house.

“ We are here for Mrs. Mina Royal. She is our boss’s wife” hearing the name, Rosa staggered in shock but held the door firm to support her from falling.

Seeing that Rosa didn't return, the whole Ryan family came out to see what was happening, including Mina.

“ Why are they here and who do they seek?” Papa John asked.

“ Good day sir, we are here to take our boss's wife to her new home,” the bodyguard who replied to Rosa said.

“ And who is your boss’s wife among all the ladies present here?” Papa John asked again.

“ Mrs. Mina Royal. She is our boss's wife” the bodyguard replied once more.

Hearing her name, Mina's eyes widened in shock as she stepped forward.

“ Who is your boss?” She asked to be sure if it's the stranger she married the previous day.

“ Royal Klein. He is our boss, and he ordered for us to bring his wife” the bodyguard replied, making Mina's eyes widen the more to the size of an orange.
