After breakfast, I head to my office as quickly as possible, to avoid any questions about what happened, I have a meeting in about half an hour so once I am behind the closed doors I try to process what happened, I can't get her out of my head, I remember the day I met her, I wanted to possess her, to make her mine almost as if she were to be my mate, but that’s not possible, we haven't shifted or mated in centuries and she is human so it is definitely not possible, maybe it's been to long since I have been with a woman, but ever since I saw her, I could never look at another

Eva pov

I give Anna to Julie her care giver, my nerves rising as I make my way to the kitchen, the plates have already been dished ready to be delivered, Layla informs me that Master Kaden and Master Ethan will be served in the study, with shaky hands I take the tray, you will be alright just deliver the tray and come back Layla tries to reassure me, I give her a small smile and turn to leave, once I reach the study the guard outside opens the door, i thank him and enter the room, a table is set up at the

window, they are both talking about something in hushed voice, that I am afraid that I may have interrupted them I move slowly towards the table careful of each step I take, I don't want a repeat of this morning

When I am at the table both their heads Snap to me, I set the tray on the table so that I can place their plates, I give Master Ethan his plate, thank you Eva, how are you today he asks smiling at me, I am a bit taken aback as I have never really spoken to any of them before, I try to respond but no words seem to come out, I hear a low growl and quickly turn to give Master Kaden his plate, he seem really angry, I am sorry I tell him thinking I have taken too long, he grabs my hand and turns toward me, don't be sorry you where right on time he says he doesn't seem to be angry anymore I release a breath I didn't know I was holding, he looks back at Master Ethan and seems to become angry again but Master Ethan doesn't seem bothered by it as he is only smirking back, Master Kaden releases my hand and I turn to leave again watching my steps the door opens and I nod to the guard and thank him than I make my way back to the kitchen, both Layla and Aunt Agnuis are waiting for me, as soon, as I enter I tell them that everything went better than this morning and they both smile at me I find myself smiling back but I am again baffled by Master Kaden and masters Ethans behavior they seem so strange but they do have a strange friendship it's not common for a Vampire and Werewolf to be friends, Layla inform me that I must go back to the study in an hour to clean up I nod and start to clean up the rest of the kitchen, I wish that school was back on I am in my final year and than I will be studying how to rejuvenate the land, summer break could not end faster, I only assist in the house when there is no school, it gives me something to do and I love working with Aunt Anguis my thoughts are drawn back to Master Kaden, hoping that when I go back they not there.
