Blazer and the Rebels

POV Lina                First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Lina, Lina Rose Blaze. I am the eldest child of Lilabeth Lee Blaze and James Oscar Nolan. I have a twin brother named Jacob Finn Blaze. We are both 17, born on October 31st, 2003. Yes, on Halloween. Both our mother and father are dead. Our mother was a Queen and an Alpha, and our father was King. Oh, did I forget to mention that we are not human? We are all from a place called the Enchanted Forest. This is the place of magic, mythical creatures, and power.             You may be wondering what I am. Let me start off by saying I am both dead and alive. I am the first and only born Hybrid. Jacob is also technically a hybrid but not with as much. My father was human, but my mother was not. She was what a Wolfblood, an immortal wolf, or a werewolf with vampiric sides. She was also a Goddess. The Goddess of Fire to be exact. After her death, I took that title. My mother was never given a title because she was always back and forth with if she was evil or good. But, I am both a villain and a hero. So, I am known as Blazer. The emotionless, ruthless, deadly Alpha.             My brother and I are complete opposites: opposite twins. For starters, I am a girl and he is a boy. I have dark purple and dark blue eyes and he has dark blue hair and dark purple eyes. This represents both our parents. Me and Jacob are Blood Wolves. This means we are children of the Bloodmoon. We each have a symbol carved on our left hand the represent our power and command. Mine is a pentagram and his is a cross.               Up until I was 3, I was the happiest child along side my brother, boy best friend Carlos, and my girl best friend Sully. The day after Jacob and my third birthday changed everything. My mother would take me and Jacob to a high cliff to look at the sunrise and to throw a white rose off together. One to represent each of us. After doing that, we would return home and play in the field with our pack (The NighShade Pack). We did the same on our 3rd birthday. The day after. I decided to go talk to Sully’s mum and dad to ask if she could stay over and play (I was 3 and she was 2). My mother let me since we were close to their Kingdom at the time. When I got there, I saw a bunch of men that I didn’t recognize. I hid behind a plant in the corner because I did not feel safe.             I saw these men r****g Sully’s mum, while forcing her dad to watch. I tried to stay quiet but one of the men saw me. I thought that I was going to get hurt but he told me he was not going to hurt me. After the men finished what they were doing, they told the man that spoke to me “to have fun with the ‘toy’ and then kill them. Then come meet us at the other place.” The man just nodded and waited for them to leave. When they were gone, he told me to run home. I did not question him and just ran. Me being of alpha blood made me faster and my senses stronger. When I got there, some men grabbed me, injected me with something and held me down with my brother and bestfriends. We were forced to watch the same men r**e my mother in front of our pack. She couldn’t die unless she gave her power to me. As they were r****g her, she gave me her power. That burned the drugs out of my system, and I managed to tell my pack to run as the men came for me and my brother. After, I mindlinked Carlos (mindlinking is talking through thoughts), telling him to grab Sully and get ready to run. I then began to count down in the link, “Three…. Two…One!!!” And with that we got up and ran. Carlos and I were connected at birth with him being my future Beta. So, since my powers came through, so did his. All four of us ran for hours. It was after midnight by the time we found shelter. We waited 2 hours after we stopped to head back to the Shadow Kingdom. When we got back, everyone was asking me questions, such as “What happened??”, “Where is the Queen?!?!”,” What are we going to do??”. I had asked one of the guards to take Jacob and Sully to their chambers since both were practically asleep. Afterwards, I had begun to explain to those who weren’t there what had happened. Then everyone started asking what was going to happen.  Me and Carlos just stood there until he spoke up; “Why are you asking what we are going to do? The Queen had given her power to Lina. She is the rightful heir. She will become not only Queen but the Alpha as well. The Queen herself has been training both her and I since we were born. We are able to do this all we ne- ““The alpha is only as strong as its pack” I say interrupting him. I wait a bit to continue since everyone seemed shocked to hear me say my mother’s saying. “I can lead this pack, and this kingdom as long as I have my pack, wait no, as long as I have my family there with me. I may be young but as most of you have seen, I know this pack, kingdom, lands, and people inside out. I know more about this kingdom then you might know.” Me, as a three-year-old, saying this just caused arguments. Those who were willing to follow me were fighting those who were not.  “Enough!” I said in my alpha tone. This in an instant shut everyone up. They all looked at me in shock. “This fighting is pointless! Don’t you all realize what happened today?! You may have lost someone but so did I! If you do not want me as a leader then you are welcome to leave. I will not force you to stay or to follow me. All I will say to those who want to leave is, you cannot force anyone to leave with you. If someone does not want to leave then they stay. And that is final.” After saying this all you could hear was “Yes alpha”, “I am not following a child!”,” You are to weak and young to lead!”, “I am staying!”  On October 31st, 2006, the NightShade pack and Shadow Kingdom had 200,000 members. On November 1st, 2006 we had roughly 120,000. Yes, that many people had left us... Months later, we were having my crowning. I may have only been 3, but these people needed a leader and both our previous Queen/Alpha and Prince/Beta had died. So, I took my title as the Queen/Alpha and Carlos took his title as Prince/Beta. Weeks before this me and Carlos decided we all needed to leave this land. Not forever but for some time. Today is the day we announce this. My sire steps up the podium and says “Would you all please be seated. The Queen and Prince have an announcement to make.” He then motions us up and tells us it will be okay and that they will understand. We step up to the podium as everyone claps. We smile and put on a brave face even though we know everyone there could see our pain. I start off this announcement, “Good evening everyone! I would like to start off by saying thank you, for not only this amazing party, but for each of you. You could have left; you could have been free from control, but you choose to follow me and for that I am grateful!” I lightly nudge Carlos to tell him to continue. “I would also like to thank you. For accepting not only me as your Beta but as Prince. I will do everything in my power to ensure you all are repaid.” We stop to let everyone to clap as the wish to. Then I continue, “You all might be surprised or concerned but I will ensure you that everything will be okay.” I look around as I see everyone go silent. I take a deep breath and say “Me, Carlos, Jacob, and Sully will be leaving. Not forever but for a sort of mission.” Gasps are heard around and some whining. I continue “As some as you may know, my mother ruled alone, but my father is still out there. I may have never met him but from what my mother had told me is that he is a Prince of another kingdom. We will be going out to try and find him. Not only for reuniting our family, but to form an alliance to grow our kingdom and numbers.” As I am finishing, I am shaking. Carlos notices and grabs my hand and just stands closer to me. We look out expecting to see faces of disgust or anger, but we see concern. A man who whole heartedly stood with my mother named Vince, raises his hand, asking for permission to stand and talk. I nod in allowance. He stands and says “Lina, I think everyone here can agree, that we understand. I personally have worked with both your mother and her beta for years, even before you were born to know that she wanted you to find your father one day. I will stand with you kid. Now and forever” He then takes off his gloves, pulls a dagger out of his holster and proceeds to carve my symbol into his left hand. As he lowers his dagger, his mate grabs it and copies him. Then I smell blood from the other side of the room, and then all over. I look around to see everyone carving my symbol into their hands. Vince raises his hand in the air, and everyone follows him. Then, they say the pack saying, “The strength of the pack is the wolf!” Without hesitation, Carlos and I raise our hands (with the carving on) and say, “The strength of the wolf is the pack!” I then lower my hand and run down the stairs and running to Vince. He was the only one that ever knew me as a baby. I run over and give him a hug. “Thank you Vince, I be sure to make you proud.” I say just barely above a whisper. “I know you will kid.” says Vince as he hugs me back. Carlos then says “Now, before the night ends, lets have some fun!!” Then the lights start changing and the music starts. People then get up and begin to dance. I look up to Carlos and mouth a ‘thank you’. Then we began to dance the night away and celebrate the crowning of the Queen and Prince. It was not long after that people at started to head to their chambers to rest. The ball room was beginning to be cleaned up as Carlos and I were heading to our chambers. We wished the workers a good evening that were cleaning and to the workers by our chambers.
