Suspicion

Samuel 's POV….
After yesterday I avoided Dean the best I could .
I had to warn Genevive about Dean growing suspicious so I decided to take advantage of the fact that Dean knew I was angry and drove to Hecate.
When I arrived I saw Genevive's assistant walking out of the Manor.
I got out of my Jeep and walked up the steps.
"Beta we weren't expecting to see this early. Alpha Aldren is scheduled to arrive at 3."
"I need to speak to the Grand Master, Now."
I followed the woman through the door and to Genevive's office.
I walked in and saw the Master buried in a load of papers , signing ,writing. I didn't think she had this much work.
"Beta Samuel " She acknowledged me without looking away from her work., "You shouldn't be here right now. We're expecting your brother soon."
" He 's suspicious."
She looked up at me ,"Well that was fast. How much does he know?"
"Nothing really. He just knows I was in here the other night."
A knock interrupted us and Row walked in with more files in her arms.
She looked at me and smiled, she really was gorgeous.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know you were busy, I'll come back later."
“No stay, this has to do with you also.” I told her.
“Why does this have to do with Row?” Genevieve asked.
“Because Dean thought I was in here with you and I told him I was with her.” I said pointing at Row.
“Why me?” she asked.
“Because I couldn't tell him I was in here with Genevieve and I remembered you.”
“What exactly did you tell him we were doing?” Row c****d her eyebrow.
I smirked, rubbing the back of my neck and looked at Genevieve.
“Well …. Good to know.” Gen said amusingly.
“What is your plan?” I inquired.
"Well he has to get here first and like I said and I'll evaluate him. Then we'll talk. Right now you have to leave. He's supposed to be here at 3 and it's already 1 . I'm sure he's going to start looking for you to come with him."
She was right, I had to get back.
I walked back to my car and Row accompanied me.
“Look I’m sorry I involved you in all this.”
She smiled and I couldn't help but smile with her.
“It’s ok Beta , I’m involved in this already.”
“Call me Sam, please.”
She just nodded.
We arrived at the Manor doors and she touched my arm. It felt oddly satisfying. “I think your loyalty for your Alpha is admirable and the love for your brother is envious. And if there’s anything I can do to help you, I will.” She looked straight into my eyes and I felt something inside me melt. “ You don’t have to feel alone in all this. You’ve trusted us and we won’t let you down. Just know I’m here for you, ok?”
Nobody has ever shown me personal support. I know Lucia cares for me but she’s never understood how important Dean is for me. So this coming from this gorgeous woman made me extremely happy.
I took her hand and kissed the top of it. I have no reason why. I just really wanted to. “Thank you Row.”
I said goodbye and drove as fast as I could to Lycaon.
Like Genevive had said Dean had me go with him to Hecate. Josh and Ryan came with us.
He had never been to the north , he kept his gaze out of the window .I could almost say he liked it. It was beautiful. Nature was everywhere and the city was built to accommodate it.
Hecate Manor was everything its reputation made it out to be. The "Manor" was more like a 4 story cabin. It was huge and made completely out of wood.
The 6 council members were all standing at the entrance. I quickly spotted Row standing in the middle of them. We parked in front of the Manor, I got off first and Dean followed behind me.
“Welcome to Hecate Manor .” Sonya announced.
They introduced themselves and they did the same, Sonya showed us in and she and Dean led the way. I stayed behind a moment to allow Row to catch up with me. She gave me a shy smile that made my heart beat faster. We were all silent walking behind the two leaders.
“Which one of you is Row?” Dean asked out of the blue.
I turned to her and she raised her head and pulled her shoulders back.
“ I am Alpha.” She answered him in a firm voice.
He stopped ,turned around to look at her and scanned her from head to toe.
I’ve seen him doing this before , he’s trying to intimidate Row.
When he reached her eyes she held his gaze and stood her ground.
‘That's my girl’ wait ‘my girl?’
“Hmm I can see why my Beta has lost his mind.” he said with a smirk.
He turned around and continued walking to Genevive’s office.When we arrived at the office Sonya knocked on the door and opened it.
Dean signaled to me and the guys to stay outside and I obeyed.
They went in and closed the door. Here goes nothing.
