After telling his friends that they were having company for dinner, Philip went out back to light the grill. Larry trailed after him, leaning against the porch railing. “This woman is trustworthy?” “Very much so, I promise. She knows all about Adam and has kept her counsel. I told her about you and Charles. She’s,” he grinned, “very interested in meeting a sexy werewolf.” Larry shook his head. “Why do people always think that about us?” “Blame it on the movies, man.” “The bane of our existence, for my kind and for vampires. Somebody should have shot Friese-Greene and Edison before they came up with movie cameras.” Philip laughed. “Then someone else would have, you know that.” “Yeah, yeah, I know.” Larry pushed off the railing to join Philip, stopping suddenly when Barnabas growled.
