When Archangel Yael descended from heaven, he took it as a personal mission to manage his expectations among humans. Before his wings were suppressed, he was oriented that human nature is something that could be readily seen but difficult to analyze. Not everything is black and white, they say. Except for one human being, he didn’t care about the rest of them anyway.
When he got to school and met so many irrelevant humans aside from his target, Yael remained neutral. He kept his interactions with them as professional as he could so he wouldn’t drain the energy that was reserved for a girl named Naomi.
And so far, everything has been good. His non-existent expectations of humans saved him from every unnecessary emotion that would hinder him in achieving his goal.
