In a bid to get back on her boyfriend who cheated on her, a drunk Amie drags an unknown man down the street and offers him a deal.

"Be my boyfriend for two months and I'll give you whatever you want."

Waking up the next day, she realized she'd made a terrible mistake. After all, the stranger was none other than Michael Cole, President of the V group, a long time rival of her family's company.

Desperate to make amends, Amie quickly takes her words back. So what if her boyfriend cheated on her? She couldn't afford to mess with this man!

But for some unfortunate reason, this mysterious stranger has refused to leave her side even after her blatant apology.

When Michael shows up at her family's big dinner to celebrate Christmas season, Amie realizes that what she fell into was a big, big, trap. One she couldn't possibly get away from!

A bottle of poison in the ocean
The whooshing of cars eating up dust off the night ground, coupled with the bright city lights, made Amie dizzy as she stumbled into the booming interior known as the bar. "Vomit. I want to vomit," she groggily mumbled to herself, but it was the scene playing in her head that really made her want to gag. Her boyfriend—scratch that—ex-boyfriend, kissing another girl, her twin sister, no less, was not what she'd intended to see when she paid him a surprise visit earlier that afternoon. Yet that moment had felt so raw and alive, eating into the depths of her soul. "Wanna join us?" her boyfriend had called out to her suggestively, without shame, as he continued his disgusting act right in front of her. Screw him! Amie's wobbly feet made it to the bartender's table, and she took a seat in front of him. "One bottle of poison, please!" The words rumbled out of her mouth so loudly that several heads turned. The abruptness of the scene was so hilarious that a dark figure seated right next to her choked on his drink. "Erm, sorry... ma'am?" The bartender looked even more confused, his already white skin turning pale at the crazy-looking woman's order. He'd been in the business for twenty years now, and hearing a customer call for poison was a scenario he was yet to witness. Amie pursed her lips, annoyance rippling through her skin at the "unnecessary" attention she was receiving. "I said gimme poison. Don't you sell poison? What kind of bar place are you if you don't even sell poison?!" The drunken woman argued lividly, her cheeks reddened and pronounced as her red eyes peered from her long lashes. "Y-You don't seem in your right senses, ma'am..." The bartender tried to pacify her, but Amie was too intoxicated to think coherently. "Enough!" She stood to her feet, her stool screeching on the marble floor as she rose to her full, fuming glory. "First it was that scoundrel of a boyfriend of mine, and now it's you. You men are just trash! All men are the same!" Amie couldn't believe the bartender wouldn't give her poison. She needed poison urgently—a bottle for her boyfriend, plus a bottle for herself. She was about to storm out of the bar when she felt a hard grip on her hand. With her surroundings still hazy, she turned. All she could see were eyes as blue as the ocean depths. "All men are trash?" Ocean Depths sounded amused as he asked. Amie bobbed her head up and down. She could feel her pain tear at her heart as she relived the moment she caught her boyfriend cheating on her with her twin sister. Tears pricked her eyes despite all the alcohol. "All men are trash." The livid woman from a minute ago disappeared, much to everyone's surprise. The mysterious man, his grip on Amie's hand refusing to let go, continued, "What about dogs? Are all men dogs?" Dogs? Amie paused in her thinking, her mind recreating the image of her boyfriend in dog form. Shaking her head, she disagreed. "Not dogs. Dogs are loyal and cute." Pondering for a while, she fell to her seat, thrilled. "Chihuahuas! All men are chihuahuas!" A deep chuckle escaped the mysterious man's lips, his grip on her hand loosening. Amie watched in wonder as her vision cleared up, revealing the most gorgeous man she'd met in her entire life. Raven black wavy hair, a chiseled face, and a well-sculpted body, the man in front of her was everything the human eye could dare to dream. The only thought that filtered through her mind was simple: This man here was a billion times hotter than her boyfriend! "Mr. Ocean Depths!" she yelled abruptly. The stranger responded by letting his deep blue eyes fall on her red ones, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. Almost like he knew exactly what she was going to say even before she said it. "Would you marry me, Mr. Ocean? I'll give you whatever you want!" Amie's inebriated mind could only dream of what a pleasure it would be to marry a man so much more good-looking than her current boyfriend and rub it in both his and her twin sister's faces. If only she knew that the stranger was more than simply just a billion times hotter than her boyfriend. To her greatest delight... "Sure thing." Mr. Ocean Depths casually replied.
