Lisa was calm and well-spoken but she kept looking around as if she assumed she would see someone else walk into the living room any minute. "Well Lily seems cute and so well behaved," Lisa said. I wanted to roll my eyes. "Maybe that's because she is on my lap," I thought. "Well she is a very good girl," I told Lisa. "So are we all good then," Lisa said. I wanted to shout no! but I didn't. I smiled politely and said: "Yes, I will see you tonight at 7 pm," I told her. She nodded and stood up to shake my hand. I walked her to the door and Mike walked her back downstairs.
