It has been a month. Ben had been avoiding Emmanuel and Michelle but they showed up almost every day. He began to cave and go out with them 2 weeks ago. I was angry and we fought every night when he came home. He said they only went out for drinks but I knew this was just the beginning. Parker and I began to hang out more. He was just as concerned about Ben. I continued seeing Benjamin, he told me his side of the story. He was sad and remorseful about what he did to his son. He admitted he used to beat him and mistreat him when he was angry and drunk. He said it was too late when he began to recognize his mistakes and change. He said the damage was already done. I forgave him even though I knew it wasn't my place but I wanted him to know I didn't feel any different about him. I could tell
