I woke up before Stella, at about six o'clock in the morning. She was blissfully unaware of the turmoil that brewed all around, and I wanted to keep it that way for a short while. She's been through so much recently, the poor angel needs a break! I kissed her on the forehead, as she smiled, before I climbed out of bed.
I quietly changed into clean clothes, and made my way downstairs. Adam, Vince, Easton, and Rhett were all waiting in the kitchen. I joined them, quickly grabbing a bite to eat, before departing. Today we were headed to the Ivory Peaks pack, as they're the closest neighboring settlement to ours. I've known their Alpha, Reece, for five years. I'm sure he'll have some information for me.
