It was coming up at dinner time, when I returned from the meadow with Sienna. The kitchen was finally completed, and a peaceful place to eat our meals again. Everyone sat around the giant table, passing food around, eating and conversing with one another. I made my way to my chair, right beside Jace. He smiled at me as I sat down, kissing my cheek, and returning to eating his food.
I started dishing up my plate with food, when suddenly a loud noise echoed from upstairs. It got Jace's attention too, and soon several thuds followed. Jace stood up, along with Adam and Ford, as the three of them left the table and started to head towards the front entrance of the house. I was curious, and decided to follow behind them.
