A few days had passed since our return with Tex, and everyone was still recovering. Tex will be staying in the clinic for a while, which is fine because his room isn't ready yet. My burns are completely healed, as well as everyone else that's a werewolf. Lucky for us, we heal rather quickly. I wish I could say the same for Tex. His road to recovery is going to be long and gruesome, especially because it isn't just physical mending that's required, it's mental too.
Stella has grown increasingly impatient, unable to process the fact that Tex wants nothing to do with her. She cries about him, and that's something that I find extremely bothersome.
