Chapter 1.5 Shen Qi

"I said, what do you think your doing?!" Mu Xuan roared in anger.

The two leads were frozen on their spot when they saw the masked man. Li Fengxian was frozen on his spot because he knew who exactly this man was. He was his General, Mu Xuan the Third Prince and most of all the Demon of the battlefield. He does not dare offend such a character let alone his fiancee, so he tried his best to shut his fiancee’s mouth and make her apologize or else there will be unbearable consequences.

"You!" Feng An who still did not realize the situation pointed at the man in front of her, her eyes full of anger and humiliation.

"Feng'er!" General Li quickly pulled the hand Feng An was pointing away from the Demon General. “General, please forgive Feng An’s offence just now. She did not know who you are, I hope that you will forgive her.”

General Li stood in front of Feng An asking for amnesty, he knew that his fiancee was in the wrong but he can’t just abandon her. Also, if he do, knowing his General her possible ending might be death. He knew that his General saw what happened between Shne Qi and Feng An seeing how quick he is to get there, Feng An sure will be punished.

General Li knew how favored the Princess is, he saw it with his own eyes how the Emperor dotted on the Princess. Not only that, the other prince’s also dotted on this Princess and if they were to know she was harmed they will definitely lash back!

“Feng An, apologize to the Princess.” General Li urged her to apologize but Feng An seemed to not know the difference between her and Mount Tai. She looks like she does not want her life intact anymore.

"Me, apologize to that sl*t? No way!" Feng An felt wronged hearing her fiancee order her to apologize to Shen Qi. She will never apologize to such a lowlife!

"Feng An!" Li Fengxian was sweating buckets when he saw Mu Xuan's expression turn even darker, wiping his forehead he tried to calm the situation down.

"You sl*t, you dare seduce my fiancee!! Let me tell you that he will never look at such an ugly b*tch like you even if you were to strip right in front of him!" Feng An was so angered that she kept on cursing not caring of offending people.

As Feng An keep on looking at Shen Qi, she just realized that the woman in front of her was so beautiful that she almost look like a goddess. Her inferiority complex suddenly rose up in the most highest level and keep on cursing.

"Feng'er, please stop. Don't shout at her anymore." General Li tried to calm his fiancee but instead of calming her he instead fan the flames of her anger.

Shen Qi who was watching the show only kept quite on the sideline and became a spectator between the two couples fight. Even so, she had her white lotus face on. She look so d*mn innocent.

The longer the fight went on the more amuse she was as she watch the two leads fight, the FL cursing her and the ML while the ML calm the FL down and defending Shen Qi.

‘It would be good if I had a popcorn.....’ Shen Qi thought amused.

"Li Fengxian! Are you taking this sl*ut’s side now? I'm your fiancee, you should be taking my side not hers!" Feng An lost her rationality when he heard her fiancee siding with Shen Qi "You sl*t, let's see if I won't deal with you today! Come here!"

Shen Qi was only listening quietly but still this b*tch insisted on fighting with her? Fine then, I'll teach you a lesson.

“Li ge, did Shen Qi do something wrong? Why is she shouting at me?” Shen Qi cutely pouted. Her eyes red as if she was being bullied.

Seeing this scene, both of the men’ heart were grip by her. Her look, her helpless look instinctively made them want to protect her from all the worlds harm.

But everyone, let’s not forget about what she called General Li earlier. “Li ge”, someone was looking at General Li in jealousy as if wanting to dice him and cook him!

“I……..” But before General Li could say something, Mu Xuan quickly turned back to Shen Qi, covering General Li on her view on the process, he cut in.

“No, its not your fault at all. Nothing is your fault.” Mu Xuan, as if talking to a child gently said.

“But… why is she angry? Li ge, is she angry?” Shen Qi pretended as if Mu Xuan does not exist and look at General Li.

Mu Xuan who was ignored look at General Li like he was about to kill him.

“N-No, its not your fault.” General Li stuttered. He shivered in fear when Mu Xuan’s predator like eyes look him over.

“What?! You really….. this slut….!”

A resounding slap echoed in the quiet night, Feng An was daze for a second as she held her swelling cheeks, her eyes held ferocity as she look at Shen Qi. Li Fengxian who was beside Feng An is also shock when Mu Xuan suddenly slap Feng An, he did not have the time to react.

"That's for offending “my” Princess." Mu Xuan who raised his hand against Feng An looked at her maliciously. “Daring to offend a royalty, do you have a death wish?!”

Feng An who did not have the time to react looked at Mu Xuan with wide open eyes, the pain on her cheeks could not compare to the pressure she was feeling while standing in front of him.

The feeling of fear overloaded her heart as the feeling of a predator locking its eyes on her made both of her legs shake in fear.

“Third Brother….” Shen Qi who saw the development happening in front of her eyes look at Mu Xuan with wide open eyes, but inside she was laughing happily as she watch Feng An suffer.

“General! Please, spare her.” General Li who just snap from his daze stood in front of Feng An, although legs shaking he bravely stood in front.

“Oh. But I’m not done with her yet. You do know what the punishment is for trying to harm a royalty, right?”

“Yes.” General Li shook in fear. “But this is her first offense, she did not know at all. Please, spare her just this once.”

“Alright, I’ll spare her.” Mu Xuan darkly look at General Li. “But, you must take the next two slaps for her. Are you fine with that?”

“Y-Yes.” General Li stuttered.

“What, no!” Feng An held General Li’s arms but he just shook her hold and stood bravely in front of Mu Xuan.

Being shook off like that, Feng An glared at Shen Qi for being the cause of all of this. If not for her, she will not be humiliated. If not for her then General Li would not be humiliated like this, her General whose knees never bends for anyone. A tall and mighty figure that stood proud and tall despite the challenges in his life.

“Heh.” Mu Xuan laughed.

As Mu Xuan raise his hand about to slap General Li, a soft pale hand reached out and stop him. Standing in front of General Li and Feng An, Shen Qi stop Mu Xuan.

“Princess….?” General Li who was long prepared to accept his Fate looked at the back of the seemingly fragile little girl namely, Shen Qi.

“Third Brother, enough.” Shen Qi shook her head at him.

Seeing her disagreeing, Mu Xuan frowned as he put his hand down and look at General Li fillled with vengeance.

General Li despite being look at as if he was going to be killed could still not help but look at the woman in front of him who smiled at him. Like a spring breeze on winter, her smile unforgettable.

“You should go back now, it is almost dawn.” Shen Qi said.

“But…..” General Li hesitated looking at Mu Xuan.

“Do not worry, I got my Third Brother. You should take your fiancee away and take her to a physician, she should have suffered from the fright.” Shen Qi said not looking at Feng An, her eyes were only at General Li.

“Princess, thank you.” General LI does not know what to say anymore. No more words could come out of his mouth but this three words, no amount of words could convey his gratitude.

After saying his goodbye, the two left as quickly as they could before Mu Xuan change his mind.

Mu Xuan who had been quiet for some time look at Shen Qi whose sweet facade had long been gone.

“Why?” Mu Xuan could not help but asked her.

“Why not?” Shen Qi replied walking back to her residence.

“Shen’er!” Mu Xuan held her by her arms, albeit gently afraid of hurting her.

"Don’t touch this Princess, I still had not forgiven you. Don't get too close.” Shen Qi said before walking away from Mu Xuan.

Mu Xuan stood rooted on his spot and look at the person walking away from him helplessly and bitterly smiled.

"I knew it, she still hasn't forgiven me...."

"This Princess does not like a man like General Li, if I were to say a man like Third Brother is to my taste." Shen Qi could feel the person holding her hand froze and was looking at her with a penetrating gaze. "That’s all, you can go now."
