"Third Brother hey! Mu Xuan!!" The Second Prince yelled after Mu Xuan who walked faster hearing his voice but who knew that the Second Prince could be so fast and quickly catch up with him.

The Second Prince put his arm over Mu Xuan's shoulder and pulled him closer, he grip his shoulder tightly not letting him escape.

"What do you want?" Mu Xuan asked while gritting his teeth seeing his idiotic brother looking at him with a knowing smile.

"Hehehe… What are you talking about? Can't I see you because I miss you? It's not like I only see you when I need you." The Second Prince shamelessly said while puckering his lips.

Mu Xuan pushed the Second Prince face away from his face, if only he's not his brother then he would have long ago cut this person into two!

"Ow! Your no fun at all!" The Second Prince pouted and then playfully smiled "Don't you want to know what I came here for? You know about hehe… Lil Princess."

Hearing that it was about Shen Qi, it caught Mu Xuan's attention immediately.

"What about her? Did something happen to her or is someone trying to assassinate her again? Is someone harassing her?! Tell me!" Mu Xuan grabbed the Second Prince's collar and shook him.

"Wowowwow... Easy brother, it's not like I'm the bringer of bad news to you, well technically sometimes I do, but that's not the point and that's not what I'm here for."

"Then what it is it, can't you just directly go to the point!" Mu Xuan creased his forehead as he shoved the Second Prince away from him.

Seeing Mu Xuan turn serious, the Second Prince did not dare joke around with him anymore and told him the juicy piece of news and the deal he had with his Lil Princess.

Mu Xuan listened intently to this idiotic brother of his and what he heard made him rise his brow, his eyes flashed with different kinds of complicated emotions.

"..... so that's it. Say Third Brother, what did you do to make my Lil Princess so angry at you that she could not even bare the sight of you? Did you....." The Third Prince look at Mu Xuan up and down and as if understanding the situation shook his head, he looked at him pitifully.

"What are you looking at, do you want me to make you unable to see?" Mu Xuan threatened. He knew what that look in his idiotic and overly imaginative brother is about and he could not help but shiver in disgust at the thought.

"What? I'm just looking you know and besides I know you don't have the guts to do it because you are afraid of angering “my” Lil Princess more!" The Second Prince smugly said.

"Do you think that I won't dare? Get in my nerves one more time and I'll feed you to the wolves." Mu Xuan left immediately after he said those words as a warning to his brother.

The Second Prince shivered in fear, he knew that Mu Xuan was serious. He will really feed him to the wolves the next time he angered him!

“Oh well, I have my Lil Princess to protect me if that time ever do comes!” The Second Prince thought with a smile and shrugged off what Mu Xuan told him. He knew that Mu Xuan would never dare do it!

Yup! Mu Xuan would never dare!

I don't dare! I don't want my cute little 'sister' get angry with me the second time if I were to hurt that idiotic Prince brother of mine! I don't dare!

Shen Qi did not know what kind of trouble she had caused someone and was only leisurely sitting on her garden drinking tea enjoying her life.

The weather was fine that day with clear blue skies and fresh breeze, Shen Qi decided to have a peaceful day just leisurely passing her time but the Second Prince just had to arrive ruining the beautiful morning.

"Hello, Lil Princess!" The Second Prince appeared out of nowhere.

"Second Brother, do you need something from me?" Shen Qi smiled politely but her actions differed from her attitude, she did not let him sit and even glared at him telling him that he is not welcome.

"Hehe... Lil Princess, how did you know that this handsome brother of yours indeed need your help? Can it be the Legendary telepathy between siblings?!"

Shen Qi rolled her eyes as she listened to her Second Brother’s bullshit again, she thought that he was a normal person at first but a book could really not be judged by its cover.

"Second Brother, stop your nonsense. This Princess does not need that "Legendary telepathy between siblings”, all this Princess needed is to look at your face and I could immediately guess what you are planning. So tell me, what do you want?" Shen Qi raised an eyebrow as she look at her brother patiently.

"Hehe... Lil Princess really knows me best. Well... you see Lil Princess, I promised Mu Xuan to go with him this afternoon outside the palace to "sight see" but I did not expect to receive an urgent mission from the Emperor and could now only turn to you to ask for a favor. Can you go with Mu Xuan in my place, please?"

Shen Qi was about to say something but the Second Prince did not give her a chance to reject and quickly cut her off.

"I know that you are still mad t him but you promised to make peace with him, I know that I am asking for too much but I can't really cancel this plan! Mu Xuan, Mu Xuan was really looking forward to this. You knew that he was always at the border protecting us from the invaders, he spent almost half of his life there and did not even had the chance to huhuhu.... Can't you please help brother just this once? Doesn’t your heart ache just thinking about it, you know breaking his heart? He was really looking forward to this trip you know, please go with him in my place won't you?" The Second Prince whined while shedding crocodile tears, he did invite Mu Xuan to go outside the palace with him but not the other way around and also the Emperor never did give him an important mission! All of this was just his plan to let the two siblings make up, what a brilliant plan if only the target was not Shen Qi!!

Shen Qi rolled her eyes as she watch her Second Brother shed crocodile tears, he is really bad in his acting.

Shen Qi did not plan on rejecting his offer even if he did not resort to such tricks. His plan is perfect for her, now that she had a reason to be with her target why would she reject an invitation from heaven?

She was already getting bored of this peaceful life already so why not start the game and enjoy herself.

"That's sad..." Shen Qi bit her as she looked like she was considering his offer. "Can't brother really go?"

"Second Brother is really sorry but the Emperor gave your Second Brother a very important task sigh.... It would really make me guilty if I break my promise with Mu Xuan, he, he was really looking forward to this trip..." The Second Prince covered his face to let Shen Qi see how miserable he really feels, not hearing a response he peak at her on the crack between his fingers.

Seeing her hesitating, the Second Prince could not help but let out a feint smile but then quickly replaced it by a frown when Shen Qi look at him.

"Sigh... I don't have any choice in this matter, right? I did promise you to make up with him so maybe this is a perfect chance for us to clear up the matters between us and start anew. Don't worry Second Brother, I'll go with him in your place."

"Really? Thank you, very much my Lil Princess! Hehe... Then I'll go tell Mu Xuan about this then, bye!" Hearing her answer the Second Prince's gloomy look quickly changed into a big bright smile and then he quickly ran away, afraid that Shen Qi would change her mind if he stayed any longer.

When the Second Prince disappeared from Shen Qi's line of sight, she could not help but crack a smile and then a full loud laugh.

"Let the game begin..."
