Jude and I separated right after we all made plans of what we were doing. We were the short sticks to getting the spell book, where as, my best friend Orillia and her boyfriend got the good stick of tracking down Allyson.
“What does she get out of this? What does she accomplish?” I ask out loud. She gets eternal rule of mates. I stop in my tracks and look around. Where did Jude go? My heart starts racing. Maybe we walked into a trap?
“Jude?” I call. When I don’t hear anything back I start back the way I came. But everything has changed. These aren’t the halls that Jude and I were just walking by, where did we go? I swear we just left the room at school? Looking around, it looked like I was in the basement of the school, how I got here I don’t know. You could the old pipes attached the ceiling, one said hot intake valve with an arrow and then the other had a bit of gibberish writing on it. Look at the halls again and the scenes changed again leading to a Forrest.
Taking a step forward I jump when I hear a creak behind me. When I turn around there’s double door with the left one swinging open and closed which is the creak I heard. I don’t feel any wind so it shouldn’t be moving like that. Deciding that following that door would lead to nothing but danger I turn back to the Forrest.
Making sure I ignore the creak, I step towards the trees… which are now hedges? I look up and scream “Ok! I get it, stop playing with me” When I look back at the hedges, they’re closer and have an opening big enough for me to go through. When I hear a creak followed by a bang I don’t wait around to see what came through. Fear has me sprinting into the hedges and… falling down a dark hole…
