chapter one, Lonely Seventeenth.
Lillie`s, PROV.
"Lilly, you lazy mutt! Get down stairs right now! I'm late no thanks to you!" Greg yelled through my bedroom door.
"Ugh, I'm coming!"I yelled back at my brother rubbing the sleep from my eyes, not ready to get up yet.
I heard him storming down the stairs as I rolled out of bed my blanked still clinging to my body. I walked to my bathroom and grabbed my tooth brush and tooth past. I sighed while I stared at the mirror.
I frowned at my reflection. I was not what you would call pretty.
I had scars all over my face, my skin was covered in bruises, large dark circles where under my eyes, my hair was black wavy and reached my belly button, light gray eyes, full lips, pale skin, height 5-4 and hollow cheek bones(From starvation) You could say I was not the tastiest treat for the eyes.
Not that it really mattered, My family hated me anyways.
My family where all powerful wolves with an ego bigger then the list of "chores" they where kind enough to give me every morning. My step brother (we'l just call him sh**y a** wh***) is next in line to be the pack beta.
I am one year older then him and should have that title but, of cores, That title was taken from me in the worst way possible.
I sighed and walked out of the bathroom. I went to grab my backpack on my desk and my eyes drifted to my calendar on the wall and I lazily scanned the things I had written down. Mostly just random days I had doodled on for no real reason. And then I saw it, written in green sharpie was...(Birthday! Get ready to die)
I gasped. Today is my seventeenth birthday! I had totally forgot.
Although my birthday is really just a pane. People mostly made it a game to make my birthday my worst day.
But this was different because today was the day I would finally shift and see my wolf!
I finally put myself back to the present and looked away from the mirror.
I quickly changed into my baggie pants, long sleeve shirt and my hoodie. Making sure it covered my bruised face and ran out my bedroom door, headed for school.
