Though I had been up for a while, I couldn’t find it within myself to move out of bed. When I woke up this morning, Calum was nowhere to be seen. It was quite likely he hadn’t slept here last night.
Calum and I hadn’t completed our mating bond, but it was becoming stronger just by growing closer to him. Through this bond I could feel his anger towards me, leaving me miserable at the disconnect between us. While I couldn’t make myself believe that I was in the wrong for taking a step outside, I would’ve taken it back to avoid upsetting Calum this way.
