When I heard muffled arguing outside the bedroom door, I immediately stood up. Someone had to be trying to get past either Lucas or Xavier.
I tried to move slightly closer in order to hear what was going on. It didn’t take long before Ashlyn barged into my room.
“What are you doing here?”
“I’ve been thinking that we should do something together?”
“Like what? You know I still can’t go anywhere.”
“That’s ridiculous,” Ash said. “We went somewhere a few days ago.”
“After running it by Calum and taking ten guards with us. I’m not able to leave this room without him.” While I had been able to get out of the room a little more with Calum, I was still confined while he was busy.
