After mind linking King Atreyu to let him know we had rescued his sister, I put everything I had into my flying, making it the fastest I had ever flown in my life. I needed to get the love of my life back to the castle, so the doctor could examine her wounds and get her fixed up.
I didn’t even attempt to slow down until I was about ten feet from the castle. I made a quick descent down to the balcony connected to her master bedroom, then I forced my large dragon through the sliding door that was already open.
