Aurora
Darkness… it was all around me, as I tried to force my eyelids to open, but they were too heavy to budge even a little. Every inch of my body felt like it was broken, and I had a chill that went straight through my bones. I couldn’t remember ever feeling that cold in my entire life, making me wonder if I was dead.
Upon sifting through my memories, I recalled what was happening before I lost consciousness, and it was a haunting memory. Terrified that I would wake-up in the same horrible situation, I prayed to the Divine Goddess of Creation to take my soul to heaven, so I could be with my parents.
It felt like hours went by with me stuck in that state of complete darkness, then I suddenly heard a familiar voice say my name. It was a voice I thought would never reach
