Vengeance of a rejected Luna

Prologue I got out of my bed by seven am. I have been awake since four am. It's my eighteenth year birthday and you know what it means! I finally get to do a lot of things. I am no longer a teen wolf that needs supervision in everything. I get to be open with my boyfriend and soon to be mate, Stefan. Stefan has been the Alpha of our pack for quite a while now and while everyone sees him as quick tempered and ruthless, he treats me like a queen. We started dating over five months ago when he promised that we are going to be mates. He already proposed to me under the full moon and we kissed too. I also promised to give him my body on my birthday when we are bonded as fated mates, he only needs to wait a few months more. Even though he grumbled, he agreed with me too. Now, I'm so excited because of the party that I will be throwing and the transition that I will be making. Since most members of the pack are coming, I might as well be the latest talk throughout the pack. I decided to call my best friend in the world, Sonia. We have been together since we were pups and we even had training together. We protected each other and we have bonded strongly over the years. She is one of the few wolves that know about me and Alpha Stefan. Three months ago, when she broke up with her boyfriend, Beta Toby from another pack; a big jerk who was cheating on her, Stefan and I were there for her all the way. It was slow but she got better after six weeks. That's why we are so close. We can go through anything together. I dialled her number several times, but she did not respond to it. I wonder why. I have gone over what we will discuss in my head and the conversation will just be like this. "Yo, girl! It's my birthday!!!" I will say and we would both scream on the phone. "Happy birthday to the latest full grown adult. Now you can do what we do." She will reply and we will both giggle. "And guess what, Sonia? Tonight is the night that I will get it going with you know who?" "Maya, seriously? You mean that you and Stefan haven't done the…?" She would be surprised. "You can call me old fashioned, but I will like to keep myself till I am old enough." I would blush. "Well, it's better now than ever… So, what are you preparing for our hangout for the day?..." I jolted out of my fantasy immediately. I remembered that I promised that Sonia and I would go shopping with the other she-wolves and we would later go hunting too in the evening even while the party is going on. "Sonia, pick up your phone." I said, a bit frustrated. "You know, what? I will go over there and meet her myself." I said to myself as I picked up myself from my bed to the bathroom to get myself changed. I will go and visit Sonia myself even though it's a thirty minutes walk. I will just transform into my wolf and run all the way there using the forest as a disguise. I took some extra clothes and put them in a plastic bag. "Are you ready, Mai?" I asked my wolf and she simply grunted. When I got out through the back doors, I jogged a few distance into the woods before allowing Mai to take over my body. Because of our excitement, my wolf got to Sonia’s place in less than ten minutes. I quickly transformed back to my human form and changed into my clothes too. I was going to surprise my best friend. Glancing through my phone screen, I observed there were still some minutes going to nine am. I walked into her house only to be surprised that it was unlocked. Curiously, I tiptoed inside the house. "Who does she have inside that she would be too careless not to lock the door?" I asked myself. When I walked into her living room, it seems like her parents were not around. I saw some clothes littered on the floor and I smiled. "How is it that the first thing Sonia thinks about is s*x?" Judging from the male and female clothes on the floor, I know that she has someone in her room with her. Soon enough, I begin to hear faint sounds of moaning coming from her room. "I said it!" I laughed. No wonder she did not pick up my call. I saw her phone on the table. It has several missed calls there. I decided to sit down and wait for her. But as I was about to sit down, I noticed that the scent from the clothes smelled familiar. I know Sonia's scent very well and I can smell it too. However, the scent from the male clothing also smelled familiar. Where did I know this smell from? I picked up the male cloth to snuff it further and immediately I did, it clicked in my head! "Stefan?" I was alarmed. My heart began to beat so fast. Oh no! It's not possible. My nose must be deceiving me even though I have a perfect scent. This can't be true. The person having s*x with my best friend can't be Stefan! Sonia wouldn't do this to me! I gained the courage to go and investigate this myself. As I walked closer to the door, I could hear the thumping up and down of the bed. It was really rigorous and I was hearing Sonia's moans too. Finally, I heard the familiar voice of Stefan. "Yeah, you like it?" He asked her in his husky voice. I almost broke down when I heard his voice. How could they do this to me? "You're so good! I just wish Maya could give it to me like you would." He says. "She can't do it. She's still a baby." Sonia replied. This conspiracy behind my back was just too much. I stood up from where I lay and decided to confront them. This will confirm that I'm not hearing or smelling things. And they will not be able to deny it. I moved up to the door and opened it with force. The door was locked, but it was not difficult to get in. With my strength it went wide open. I have caught them in the act! Naked, oiled and sweating Stefan was on top of Sonia. My boyfriend and my mate is having s*x with my best friend. Nothing can get worse than that. "Maya, wait! I can explain." Alpha Stefan said hurriedly as he tried to cover both himself and my best friend up. "How could you?" I asked, my heart shattering to a million pieces as they looked ashamed. "I can explain, Maya. Listen to me." Alpha Stefan tried but I walked away in tears, feeling betrayed by my own mate.
