Dijah's POV

She got f***'d up if she thinks she could just ignore my call to "eye googled" some random chi......

"Mrs. Lincoln did you hear what I said?" One of my employees/friend I think his name is Mike I can never tell him and his brother apart sometimes. I just waved him off to continue with the presentation to a Chinese organization, I go over all my employees work before it's presented to any potential customer/ future partners.

When the meeting was over they still couldn't make up their good damn minds and it was pissing me off more. "Mr. Lee I don't mean to be rude but this deal we're offering you is the best you could get with your business sales. Quite frankly this deal helps your company more than it does for mine. Though I understand your concern so I'll give you another day to consider our offer. My assistant will give you a copy of the forms the original will not leave this building. It's been a pleasure."

I put out my hand for him to shake which he did reluctantly then left. I know why it irritates him that he has to come to a black company for help and on top of that he didn't expect to see a woman and the head of the company. Everytime we spoke he seems to be uncomfortable it pleases me somehow.

"Clarke, you did an excellent job on the presentation." I pat him on his shoulder.

"Thank you Mrs. Lincoln!" He said a little to excited but I let it slide. I dismissed everyone, and packed up to leave only to see my assistant still at her desk, "Pam why are you still here!"

" Ohh I'm looking over some files on the Lee's, I don't trust them."

I laughed she doesn't trust anyone, "Can't you do that tomorrow I'm pretty sure John is at home waiting for you."

"Oh yeah I forget I'm a married woman sometimes. " She said putting on the smile that could brighten anyone's day.

"Well when you forget I'll remind you." I kissed her on cheek, "Tomorrow Auntie Pam!" She blushed like she always do when I call her auntie I laughed and walk out.

I really don't know what I'll do without her she's like a mother to me. I asked her when she's going to retire and she said when she's dead I didn't speak to her for a week when she made that statement. She apologized every half hour for that entire week but I couldn't let it slide how could she joke about her leaving me like that. But as usual Kayden stepped in and pointed out under Pam's eyes were getting dark and she wasn't eating.

I didn't know she was depressed that her 'Bear Cub' wasn't speaking to her. Seeing that Pam couldn't have children of her own she sort of adopted me in her mind. Since she basically took care of me when I came to see my father on holidays when my sperm donor decided he had a kid.

She's the mother I never had and I really didn't like to think about losing her. She's one of the most important women in my life. I didn't realize I was thinking so much til I put in our garage and see my baby's car there. Only then I remembered what took place earlier and I got pissed all over again.

When I stepped in the house I was welcomed by the smell of my favorite dish 'ochro pelau' I smiled at how cute she was trying to get on my good side.

I walked into our kitchen to see her checking the rice. I sat down at the counter watching her I didn't make a sound till she was away from anything that could harm her. She's so clumsy with or without her glasses.

I cleared my throat and she screamed, jumping around holding her chest with one hand and the other had a knife that she didn't have in her hand a minute ago. I laughed, "Planning on stabbing someone?"

"I didn't notice I picked it up sorry." She put it down and looked at me nervously, "So how was work?"

"Work was work!"

"Ok how was your day then?"

"Well since you asked it started off great, me having a wonderful breakfast before work, then making $3,000,000 in a hour. Then during the second hour of being away from my wife I called her to see how her day was going. Only for her to not answer any of my calls, messages or emails. Had me worried and ready to pack up my stuff and leave till Pam reminded me of the GPS on both our phones she put in to check up on us from time to time. I saw that you were at Starbucks which was a relief that nothing was wrong with you. I was going to let Mike or Jason whichever twin was there to hack into the Starbucks camera when you finally picked up my call. Only for you to tell me that you spilled a drink on someone and was checking them out after. So to sum it up I've had an eventful day. How was yours?" I smiled.

"G.... good?" She said playing with her fingers I swear I love making her nervous it's cute and it turns me on.

"Are you asking me or are you telling me?"

"I.. I'm telling you?" She still sound unsure, I'll just put an end to this she has tears in her eyes already.

"Come here baby!"

She walked to me and placed herself between my legs.

"I'm not mad anymore, I was mostly worried cause you don't usually go an hour without calling or messaging me. Then you ignored my calls so I was even more worried. I was thinking the worse case scenario. I don't want to know life without you baby, there is no life without you." I watched her in her eyes while I was talking.

She sighed, "I'm sorry baby I got lost away on a new design I have for one of my clients houses and our potential beach house. I didn't hear my phone ring nor did I see my emails notifications come in. I was just in my zone it won't happen again baby I promise." She kissed me and I deepen it. I know she meant for it to be a peck but I don't care I haven't tasted my Carmel since this morning.

She moaned into the kiss which led me to picking her up and putting her on the counter never breaking our kiss. I started to kiss on her neck when she interrupted me. "Babyyyyy the food." I groaned and took her down from the counter. She walked over to the pot check it then turn it off.

"Good cause I'm starving!" I licked my lips watching her from head to toe. She wearing one of my shirts which covers to just a little way under that phat ass, that's all mine.

"No you don't, you have to eat food first I'm pretty sure you didn't eat today."

She right I have the bad habit of going days without eating till Kayden came in my life. I would be living off of coffee, water and sometimes shakes. Not that I have an eating disorder or anything I just where accustom to not having enough food for my grandmother and I will always tell her I ate at school so she'll eat what we had. I miss that short woman.

I nodded at my wife, "Baby make sure I call and check up on Mama D when we're finished."

She nodded sending me off to change and come back.

After we ate we just sat down and watching criminal minds reruns. "Wait what's with the random earlier?"

I laughed again, "Brownie points you say? I thought I named her Carmel?"

"You did and you're my chocolate fudge I don't know where that came from I was trying to be sexy."

"Oh baby you don't need to try anything." I stuck my tongue in her mouth which she gladly sucked on. I left her so I can get up and put her on at the end of our sofa where there's no arm rest. She tried to get up, key word tired she just fell back down. She's so cute!

I raised my eyebrows at her she sighed, "I'm not trying to dominate you baby I just want my chocolate fudge or I won't be able to sleep."

I sighed and just took off my clothes she won't stop until she got her way spoiled brat but she's My spoiled brat. I got up on her face and she smelled me like the weirdo she is I heard her sighed in content.

Without warning she started eating me like she hasn't eaten for days I gripped on our bed frame to keep from put my weight on her. I dialed one half of my favorite nerd duo, "Mike get into the Starbucks video for today. The woman who Kayden bumped into get a picture of her send it to your brother and have him get everything on her. I want to name, her age, her health history everything up to her ancestry background. Everything got that?"

"No problem Dijah we're on it!" I heard him echoing so I guess I'm on speaker and Jason already heard what I said.

"Good how soon will you to have it?"

"Give us two days." Mike said at least I think it was Mike. Even after growing up with them I still can't tell them apart.

"Ok get to it." I hang up.

I checked to see if I woke Kay she was still asleep I smiled did my business then layed next to her. She moved into me like she always do I smiled she has me smiling way to much but it's a good thing, "I promise I'll give you what you want baby everything." I whispered kissing her head and drifting off to sleep.
