CHAPTER 20

Dijah Pov

I'm sitting on one of the kitchen stools while Kayden is stress cleaning. I said nothing and just watched her while I kept myself busy with some designs I had in mind for another hotel.

I saw an alert on my laptop that our front gate opened.

I didn't need to check the camera to know that it was Skylar.

She's the only person beside us that have access to the system.

I didn't say anything to Kaydon as she just finished what she was doing and is now going to cook apparently.

It's almost 11pm.

"Baby you don't need to cook she's here."

"She still has to eat doesn't she?" She snaps looking at me.

I raised my eyebrows at her and ignore the attitude, focusing back on my design.

The garage door opens and Sky came in looking exhausted but smiling.

"Well you looked like you day went well!"

"It did!!!" She beamed.

"Want to talk about it?" I asked.

I saw Kaydie preparing something to eat but is clearly looking at us at the side of her eyes.

"Yes, please."

She walks to Kayden and hugged her and kissed her cheek.

Shocking the both of us but she didn't seem to realized what she did and she came and sat next to me after telling me about her day.

I listened to everything she said as excitement of spending time with her family poured out through her like water bursting through a crack in a dam.

It was such a relief than her coming heart broken again.

"Oh and my mom explained the 'ideal Dom-Sub relationship to me in the video."

"Wait!!! What?" Kayden and I said at the same time.

Skylar laughed, "okay so apparently my mother not only knew I was gay but also that I'm a sub.

She anticipated that she may not be around when I came of age so she started putting things in place for me.

Aside from the business, funds and college tuition.

She made a video to help me differentiate the a healthy and unhealthy relationship."
