Bob decided that he had had enough of waiting for the promised call from Princess Diana . After his meeting with the doctor , he had decided to calm down his nerves with a drink in his favourite restaurant while he waited for her to inform him where to meet . He knew that she was still in town and he saw no need of going home only to come back again .
It was three hours later and three bottles down , that his anxiety over her call increased to a crescendo . He checked through his phone contact , but her phone was switched off .
